Cable television network REELZ Channel reportedly recently signed a new streaming deal with NBC’s Peacock, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
It was reported that Peacock will be adding REELZ to their lineup of channels starting on March 1st but with one big catch. This deal reportedly does not include Major League Wrestling’s weekly MLW Underground series airing on Peacock due to WWE exclusivity with the service for wrestling programming.
It was reported that as a result of WWE’s existing deal with Peacock, REELZ’s live feed will not air on Peacock for one hour every Tuesday night starting at 10PM EST due to that being the timeslot for MLW’s weekly show on the network.
There is one quirk under the Reelz deal: While it will include the channel’s live linear feed, it will not stream Tuesdays in the 10 p.m. hour, as Reelz airs Major League Wrestling in that hour. Peacock has a streaming deal with the WWE, which has exclusivity in the category on Peacock.
