JBL Reportedly No Longer Expected to Make Regularly Scheduled WWE Appearances

This past Monday’s WWE RAW show in Orlando, Florida featured a singles match between Baron Corbin and Dexter Lumis, which was won by Lumis. Following the match, Corbin’s manager JBL was visibly upset at ringside over Corbin’s loss. In a follow-up backstage segment, JBL claimed that his Hall of Fame legacy lost all credibility due to his association with Corbin. JBL also stated that Corbin was not a “Modern Day God” but instead a clown and a turd before walking off on him.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that the reason for JBL’s breakup with Corbin was due to WWE officials currently no longer have plans for JBL to make regularly scheduled appearances going forward. No other details were given regarding JBL’s change in status in the company.


Defamation Lawsuit Filed Against WWE SmackDown Commentator Pat McAfee

WWE SmackDown commentator Pat McAfee reportedly is currently dealing with a defamation lawsuit filed by former NFL player Bret Farve, according to the Daily Mail.

It was reported that Farve is currently suing McAfee, former NFL player Shannon Sharpe, and Mississippi Auditor Shad White over claims of defamation made against him by all three individuals regading his connection in the recent welfare scandal in the state of Mississippi.

Farve is currently facing legal issues over a recent investigation by the state of Mississippi that revealed he recieved $1.1 million in funds meant for welfare purposes in return for speeches he ended up not giving. Farve is claiming that he did not know about the origin of the money and returned it once he found out but it was reported that he had kept $228,000 in interest he made from the payment.

In a recent episode of the Hall of Fame with Booker T and Brad Gilmore podcast, co-host Booker T stated that he currently feels that his appearance in the Men’s Royal Rumble match at this past January’s Royal Rumble 2023 event was the last in-ring match of his career. Booker T stated “I’m gonna tell you right now, I think that’s the last time people are going to see me in the ring altogether.
