AEW: Fuego Del Sol Injury Update, Dax Harwood on MJF Being Reason for Pinnacle’s Demise, Keith Lee

Fuego Del Sol Injury Update

As noted before, Fuego Del Sol recently suffered a foot injury and was scheduled to undergo a medical scan to determine the length of time he would be out of action.

Del Sol provided an injury update earlier today on Twitter stating that his recent medical scan revealed that he had suffered multiple fractures in his foot. Del Sol also stated that he will be visiting a foot specialist soon to determine if he needs surgery or not, which will determine how long he will be out of action for AEW and the indies.

“Injury Update Thread…

Last week the x-rays confirmed the dislocation of my right foot, they believed I only had one minor fracture.

After the CT scan upon further examination, today they determined I actually fractured my foot in 5 DIFFERENT PLACES!

The doctor told me that the fact I finished the match was unbelievable. Adrenaline is a hell of a drug!

Now let’s talk about the big thing, ligament damage. The orthopedic said the main ligament around my Lisfranc bone is a little displaced but not completely separated.

So now I have to go see a foot specialist to determine if it needs surgery or heals on its own. If it can heal on its own the recovery is 6-8 weeks because all my bones are in the right spots and the fractures just need time to heal, BUT if I need surgery it could be 3 months.

Expect another update next week, hoping for the best.

Focusing on my recovery and advancing my non-physical ventures like, twitch, YouTube, tiktok, IG and content of the likes to keep me busy and my mind off this.

Any love and support sent my way is appreciated immensely!”

Dax Hardwood Comments on MJF Being the Reason for The Pinnacle’s Demise in AEW

A recent episode of the FTR with Dax Harwood and Matt Koon podcast featured co-host Dax Harwood’s thoughts on his issues with MJF over the reason for The Pinnacle’s demise as a stable in AEW.

“Max was the one doing all the talking and Tully was just sitting there. So, I told you the previous week, if you have a manager, the manager has to be a difference maker in your career because if he’s not a difference maker in your career then why is he there?

Me and Cash, we would sacrifice us and sacrifice our ‘cool stuff’ to give something to Tully, always. Whether it was in the match with – we’ll talk about it later – Darby and Sting where Tully was the factor and the reason the match ended. We always gave him time to talk because if we didn’t then our group was dead in the water because then it was just three people together.

So, before this promo, I remember talking to Max and I said, ‘Hey, I think we should allow Tully to do something, some of the talking,’ because that promo was 10 minutes long or whatever. Max was like, ‘No no, I really think I should do all the talking.’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, but we’ve got one of the greatest talkers of all time, Tully Blanchard, and he’s our manager and he’s the reason we’re all tied together, I think he should say a little something.’ Max didn’t see that my way and so Tully just sat in the back and so did everybody else.”

Harwood also gave his thoughts on the one thing he would have changed the most from his time in the group.

“I wouldn’t have joined it, that would be what I’d change.”

Harwood expanded on his comment stating:

“I think one person in the group probably thought that he was bigger than the group, maybe, and probably felt that this was just designed for him, maybe, and maybe he wasn’t the only person that thought that too.

I think, at first, someone and maybe a couple of other people outside of our group too, felt that this was a vehicle for just [MJF] and them. We felt, us and Wardlow, we felt that – and I say us being me, Cash, Spears, and Wardlow – felt that if we all worked together, we could all get over, and we could all get each other over. And obviously Max was going to be the main event guy winning the world belt, we knew that, but we felt that everybody could benefit from this group and, in turn, benefit who we individually work with and, in turn, benefit AEW’s business. It just didn’t pan out that way.”

Keith Lee on His Goal to Become AEW’s First Black World Champion

A recent episode of The Masked Man Show podcast featured Keith Lee as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Lee’s thoughts on his current career goal of becoming AEW’s first ever black World Champion.

“Oh, I mean, let’s be honest here. Any place or any time that an individual goes to a company, it doesn’t have to be sports related or physical, When you go somewhere, most people [have goals or ambitions] of being that number one talent, that number one person, that number one mine, whatever it may be. The end goal is obviously to become AEW World Heavyweight Champion, and let’s be honest, I’m really good at making history. I would be [AEW’s first] black World Heavyweight Champion. I’m more than capable of doing that, I’m more than capable of carrying myself in a way that would be fitting and beneficial to a company.”
