CM Punk Claims Jon Moxley Didn’t Want to Lose to Him in AEW & Calls Out Chris Jericho for Being a “Liar & Stooge”

In a recently deleted post on Instagram, CM Punk claimed that Jon Moxley did not want to lose to him in AEW regarding their feud for the AEW World Championship in 2022.

Punk also lashed out at the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer calling him a “liar” over his reporting over the infamous All Out brawl and also at Chris Jericho calling him a “liar and a stooge.”

Punk also stated that he will never put a company above his health ever again.

“SIGH. I wasn’t cleared to come back to wrestle yet. Then plan was to wrestle at the ppv. I sat and listened to moxleys Rocky three idea. I explained how I’d never seen a Rocky movie.I and thought the idea sucked but if the boss wanted to do it whatever. He said he wouldn’t lose to me. I’d never experienced someone refusing to lose to me. I just laughed. I asked Tony if this was what he wanted. He said yes. He’s the boss so I said okay but I’d need to be cleared first. They kept saying it could just be a squash se l didn’t need to be cleared. I scoffed at that. My health i more important. Dave Meltzer is a liar. Jericho is a liar and a stooge. There were plans but plans always change but I’ll never put a company above my health ever again.”

Prior to his online rant, Punk had recently responded to a post from Pro Wrestling Podcast on Instagram about Dax Harwood revealing that Punk had recently told him that he read a book from Steve Kiern that had made him miss wrestling. Punk stated:

“Great story about Gator and Koko fighting in the locker room and then lawler drags em in the office the next day and they squash it. Fascinating. Best book about a fascinating man in a strange business since Bret wrote his book.”
