Ring of Honor owner Tony Khan held a media call earlier today to promote this Friday’s ROH Supercard of Honor 2023 event in Los Angeles, California.
Some of the topics discussed included Khan stating that subscriptions for ROH’s HonorClub service has risen to a current amount of around 15,000. Khan stated that this is the largest amount of subs ever in HonorClub history. Khan also stated that the service had to start from scratch in terms of subscriptions due to them having to void all of the old subscriptions from the Sinclair era.
Khan also stated that New Japan Pro Wrestling talent Will Ospreay had been originally planned to make an appearance at this Friday’s Supercard of Honor 2023 event but those plans were dropped following him suffering a shoulder injury earlier this month.
Khan also stated that his booking of ROH TV shows has influenced how he has been booking AEW shows recently.
Khan also stated that he was not aware beforehand that WWE would be holding a media call for their upcoming NXT Stand & Deliver 2023 event at the same time as his own media call today for ROH.
In regards to AEW, Khan stated that he will be making a major announcement on the April 5th AEW Dynamite show in Long Island, New York.
