As noted before, Monday’s WWE RAW show in Boston, Massachusetts featured a new match added to the card of next month’s WrestleMania 39 event. This match is a Six-Woman Tag Team match of Trish Stratus and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Becky Lynch & Lita vs. Damage CTRL.
Dave Meltzer reported in a recent episode of the Wrestling Observer Radio that his sources stated that WWE officials still have plans for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship to be defended on one of the nights of next month’s WrestleMania 39 event.
Meltzer reported that Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler are still planned to be the official challengers for the match and are currently expected to also win the titles at the event.
In regards to Rousey’s arm injury, Meltzer reported that WWE officials are currently under the belief that Rousey will not be 100% healed in time for the event but will still be healthy enough to compete in the match.
