Update on WWE’s WrestleMania 39 Plans for Ronda Rousey

As noted before, WWE recently dropped their plans for Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler to compete for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship at next month’s WrestleMania 39 event.

WrestleVotes reported that their sources stated that WWE officials are currently planning for Rousey and Baszler to be one of the four teams for the Women’s Fatal Four-Way Tag Team Showcase match at WrestleMania 39.

In regards to the remaining two teams for the match, it was reported that as of this past Friday, WWE officials were planning for Natayla & Shotzi and Carmella & Chelsea Green to be the other teams.


WWE & General Mills Announce Partnership & Cinnamojis Concert for WrestleMania 39

WWE announced that they have recently signed a partnership deal with General Mills for their Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal brand to be a sponsor for next month’s WrestleMania 39 event in Inglewood, California.

It was also announced that General Mills’ Cinnamoji mascots will be performing a concert at the event.

A&E WWE Programming Ratings – March 19, 2023

This past Sunday’s Biography: WWE Legends doubleheader first episode drew 350,000 viewers on A&E. This episode also drew a 0.11 rating in the 18-49 demographic and a #38 ranking in the key demographic rankings. This was down compared to last week’s 383,000 viewers and 0.13 key demographic rating. This episode focused on WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler.

This past Sunday’s Biography: WWE Legends doubleheader second episode drew 297,000 viewers on A&E. This episode also drew a 0.10 rating in the 18-49 demographic and a #39 ranking in the key demographic rankings. This was down compared to last week’s 383,000 viewers and 0.13 key demographic rating. This episode focused on Paige (current Saraya in AEW).

Both episodes of the doubleheader were the lowest ever overall viewership for an episode in Biography: WWE Legends history. The average overall viewership of 324,000 viewers was also the lowest ever in series history.

This past Sunday’s WWE Rivals drew 271,000 viewers on A&E. This episode also drew a 0.11 rating in the 18-49 demographic and a #37 ranking in the key demographic rankings. This was down compared to last week’s 287,000 viewers but up compared to last week’s 0.09 rating. This episode focused on the famous Trish Stratus vs. Lita feud.
