New Official Match Added & New Potential Match for WrestleMania 39
Monday’s WWE RAW show in Providence, Rhode Island featured one new official match added and one new potential match for the card of next month’s WrestleMania 39 event in Inglewood, California.
In regards to the new official match, this was announced to be a Hell in a Cell match between Edge and Finn Balor. During Edge and Judgement Day’s promo segment on the show, Edge accepted Balor’s challenge for a match at WrestleMania 39 but added the stipulation of it taking place inside of a Hell in a Cell. Balor initially hesitated on the new stipulation but eventually agreed to it for their match at the event.

In regards to the new potential match, this was proposed to be a singles match of Dominik Mysterio vs. Rey Mysterio. Dominik issued another match challenge following him interrupting his father Ray’s promo about his upcoming induction into WWE’s Hall of Fame and his thanks for all the support shown by his fans and everyone. Following some heated words by Dominik, Rey refused the match offer and stated that he still loves his son despite everything he has done to him recently.
