Winner’s Team Gets Advantage for Hardcore War Match
Kenny King vs. Frankie Kazarian

The winner of this match will secure the numbers advantage in Hardcore War this Sunday at Rebellion! King counters the slingshot DDT and drops Kazarian throat-first on the top rope. King hits a swinging backbreaker for two. King locks in the Camel Clutch but Kazarian breaks free. Kazarian begins to build momentum with a powerslam, followed by the springboard leg drop. Kazarian successfully hits the slingshot cutter but it’s not enough to keep King down. John Skyler gets up on the apron but Yuya Uemura pulls him down. Tensions are about to explode between the two teams at ringside. Kazarian forces King to tap out but the referee is distracted by Brian Myers. Moose spears Kazarian out of nowhere, allowing King to score the pinfall.

Winner: Kenny King via Pinfall.

After the match, a huge brawl breaks out as Team Bully stands tall over Team Dreamer.

Before IMPACT! went on the air, Steve Maclin interrupted the playing of the Canadian national anthem. Maclin disrespected the audience in Windsor, until KUSHIDA came to their defense. A brawl broke out between the opponents at Rebellion with KUSHIDA gaining the upper-hand. KUSHIDA sends Maclin soaring off the apron into a sea of security guards.


Four-Way Match
Black Taurus vs. Lince Dorado vs. Laredo Kid vs. Rich Swann

Buckle up for what will certainly be an adrenaline-pumping showcase match featuring the stars of the X-Division! Taurus hits a corkscrew dive through the ropes, wiping out everyone on the floor. Dorado launches himself off the top rope, colliding with everyone on the outside. Taurus hits a Tower of Doom out of the corner as Kid and Dorado go down hard. Swann connects with a Frog Splash on Taurus. Moments later, Taurus hits Dorado with a pop-up Samoan Drop. Taurus continues the assault with a backbreaker, then powerbombs Dorado over the top rope into an unsuspecting Swann on the outside. Back in the ring, Kid hits a Crucifix Bomb on Taurus. Kid picks Taurus off the top with a Spanish Fly to win.

Winner: Laredo Kid via Pinfall.

Taylor Wilde vs. Jessicka

Before the Death Dollz challenge The Coven for the Knockouts World Tag Team Titles this Sunday on Countdown to Rebellion, momentum is up for grabs in singles action! Wilde presents a tarot card to Jessicka, which sends her into a frenzy. Wilde blindsides her with a flurry of strikes, then takes her down at the knee. Wilde hits a backstabber to keep Jessicka grounded. Jessicka begins to build momentum with a running crossbody. King provides a distraction but Rosemary makes her pay with a spear. Wilde capitalizes with a swinging neckbreaker for three.

Winner: Taylor Wilde via Pinfall.


Backstage: Jordynne Grace

Jordynne Grace vows to reclaim the Knockouts World Title at Rebellion.


Backstage: Alisha Edwards, Eddie Edwards

After costing PCO his match against Eddie Edwards last week, Alisha reveals that the reason she intervened was because PCO wasn’t allowing her husband to put his past behind him. Edwards says that he and Alisha are ride or die. But for PCO in their Last Rites match this Sunday, it’s just die.


Dirty Dango & Joe Hendry vs. The Design (Callihan & Angels)

Joe Hendry and Dirty Dango are out for revenge after Callihan brutally assaulted Director of Authority Santino Marella last week! Callihan hits Dango with a Death Valley Driver to gain the early advantage. Angels pummels him with a flurry of fists but it’s not enough to keep Dango down for the count. Both Dango and Callihan are down following a double clothesline. Dango makes the tag to Hendry who enters the match with a burst of speed. Hendry hits a Fallaway Slam on Callihan but Kon trips him up from the outside. Angels connects with a Frog Splash on Hendry but Dango breaks the pin attempt. Hendry ducks the incoming assault, causing Callihan to inadvertently strike Angels. Deaner confronts Callihan about his actions but meanwhile, Hendry finishes off Angels with the Standing Ovation.

Winner: Dirty Dango & Joe Hendry via Pinfall.

After the bell, The Design blindside Hendry and Dango until Santino Marella makes the save. Marella gets physical and lays out Angels with the Cobra. This Sunday at Rebellion, Marella makes his in-ring return as part of a huge six-man tag team match.

Gisele Shaw vs. Tasha Steelz

Tasha Steelz returns to competition as she locks up with Gisele Shaw in a heated grudge match! Both Knockouts exchange slaps in the middle of the ring before Steelz gains control with an uppercut. Shaw retreats to the outside to regain her composure. Back in the ring, Shaw pulls Tasha down by her hair. Shaw distracts the referee as Evans delivers a thudding slam on the apron. Shaw is in total control following a snap suplex. Shaw hits a running corkscrew uppercut but it’s not enough put Tasha away. Steelz creates an opening with a jumping neckbreaker, followed by a running dropkick. Shaw counters a bulldog attempt, then catches her with lariat to the back of the head. The fight spills to the outside where Vidal and Evans distract Tasha. Shaw takes advantage and throws her into the ring steps. Shaw pulls down her kneepad but Tasha avoids in the incoming assault, sending Shaw knee-first into the steel. Back in the ring, Steelz targets the knee with a running dropkick to win.

Mickie James tells Santino Marella that she just got off the phone with the doctor. The final decision on her status for Rebellion will be made in the ring next.


Rebellion 2023 Show Card Rundown

LIVE this Sunday at 8pm ET, IMPACT Wrestling returns to the Rebel Entertainment Complex in Toronto for its spring pay-per-view extravaganza, Rebellion! Trey Miguel defends the X-Division Title against Jonathan Gresham and Mike Bailey in a 3-Way Elimination match. Santino Marella makes his in-ring return, teaming with Digital Media Champion Joe Hendry and Dirty Dango to battle The Design. Team Bully collides with Team Dreamer in Hardcore War. Ultimate X returns as the Motor City Machine Guns challenge Bullet Club. Jordynne Grace and Deonna Purrazzo vie for the vacant Knockouts World Title. In the main event, a new IMPACT World Champion will be crowned when Steve Maclin takes on KUSHIDA. The action begins on Countdown to Rebellion LIVE AND FREE at 7:30pm ET on YouTube and IMPACT Plus as The Coven defend the Knockouts World Tag Team Titles against the Death Dollz. Plus, Champagne Singh and Shera lock up with Heath and Rhino.


In-Ring: Mickie James

The fans have filed out of the IMPACT Zone as Knockouts World Champion Mickie James stands alone in the middle of the ring. James has requested that the arena be empty because she could not deliver this address in front of the same fans who supported her throughout the entirety of her Last Rodeo. James says that as a veteran performer, she is constantly reminded of the age difference between her and the rest of the locker room. While James has come to terms with this, one thing she can’t ignore is the pain that she endures. James says she must do what is right for the Knockouts World Championship and for the Knockouts locker room. James reveals that after speaking with her doctor, she is not cleared to compete this Sunday at Rebellion. James addresses Deonna Purrazzo and Jordynne Grace, stating that it is their time now. James relinquishes the Knockouts World Title as Purrazzo and Grace acknowledge what will now be their one-on-one meeting to crown a new Knockouts World Champion this Sunday.
