More on “Major Changes” Made to Original Plans for Monday’s RAW Show

As noted before, WWE Executive Chairman Vince McMahon made several major changes to the original plans for this past Monday’s RAW show in Chicago, Illinois.

Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that McMahon’s hands-on involvement and changes to the original plans for this past Monday’s show was a “hot topic” discussed backstage.

In regards to the changes made, it was reported that a singles match between Piper Niven vs. Candice LeRae and a backstage segment involving Niven, LeRae, and Trish Stratus were both pulled from the original plans for the show. It was also reported that a backstage segment featuring Adam Pearce and several female talents was also originally planned to take place but later pulled from the show.

It was reported that the tag team match of Street Profits vs. Cedric Alexander & Shelton Benjamin was not originally planned for the show and replaced the dropped Niven vs. Le Rae match.

It was also reported that several matches had originally been planned to be longer in length but had their times cut as part of the changes made. The original plans for several matches in regards to the winners and losers and setup for the finishes reportedly were also among the changes made to this past Monday’s show.
