Jamie Hayter Injury Status Update
Prior to the start of this past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show in Austin, Texas, AEW announced that they had pulled Jamie Hayter from her scheduled Women’s Trios match on the show due to her not being medically cleared following a recent attack at the hands of The Outcasts.
Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp reported that his sources stated that the reason for Hayter’s removal was due to her recently suffering a legitimate injury. Sapp reported that details regarding the nature nor how long she will be out of action are currently not known.
Tony Khan Comments on Decision to Book AEW All In at Wembley Stadium Instead of Craven Cottage
A recent episode of the TalkWRESTLING podcast featured AEW CEO Tony Khan as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Khan’s thoughts on the reasons why AEW decided to hold their upcoming All In event at Wembley Stadium instead of Craven Cottage, which is currently owned by the Khan family.
“Those are two of my favorite places in the world. Craven Cottage is literally a home to me. I would love to do any big event in Craven Cottage. Wembley offered several things that we just couldn’t possibly do at the Cottage. In this case, the load in, logistically at Craven Cottage was going to be pretty much impossible. It would have been really hard to make it a big scale event there based on how challenging it would be load set, the ring, and all the elements for a big wrestling show into Craven Cottage. The Cottage was built in 1879. We’ve done a lot of renovation, to say the least, on the riverside in recent years, but Wembley offered us a less challenging load in, and also the ability to sell many times more tickets. We’ve already sold twice as many tickets as we could have sold at Craven Cottage. I really wish that would have come off, but Wembley is also one of my favorite places in the world. This is, to be honest, my first choice of where to do the show, at Wembley Stadium.”

Conflicting Reports of AEW Planning “Hard” Roster Split for Dynamite & Collision
As noted before, Warner Brothers Discovery’s Upfronts presentation earlier this week featured the official announcement of a new AEW weekly television series called AEW Collision. This new series is currently expected to feature a “soft” roster split and CM Punk’s upcoming return to AEW.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that the recent reports and rumors of AEW planning to do a hard roster split for their Dynamite and Collision brands are not true. Johnson reported that AEW officials never had considered any plans for a potential hard split and instead are still planning for a soft split in regards to talent floating between shows when needed. This rumor originated from a recent report by Fightful Select which stated that AEW talent spoken to were under the belief that there would be a hard roster split enacted for Dynamite and Collision.
In a follow-up report, Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that AEW talent had been informed this past Wednesday of plans for a hard roster split to be done for Dynamite and Collision. Those spoken to reportedly stated that “all recognized champions in AEW or any other major wrestling organization” would be exempt from any roster split.
