The decade-long rivalry between Slex and Adam Brooks continues in our opening contest! Brooks delivers a straight right hand to gain the early advantage. Brooks dives through the ropes but Slex catches him in mid-air. Slex turns the tide by driving him into the hardest part of the ring. Brooks bounces back with a suplex into the corner turnbuckles. Both men spill over the top rope to the floor as the referee begins to count. Slex gets his knees up on a Swanton Bomb attempt, then connects with the Slexecution to win.

Winner: Slex via Pinfall.

Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin declare victory in their respective title defenses later tonight.


Gisele Shaw vs. Erika Reid

Gisele Shaw looks to build momentum before her Knockouts World Title opportunity tomorrow night! Reid hits a series of running elbows in the corner, followed by a delayed vertical suplex. Shaw targets the arm of Reid to gain control. The fight spills to the outside where Shaw sends her crashing into the steel ring post. Shaw continues the attack on the Reid’s shoulder as she picks her apart. Reid creates some much-needed separation with an explosive DDT. Reid hits a spike Rana for two. Shaw quickly regains control and locks in an armbar to win by submission.

Winner: Gisele Shaw via Submission.

Steve Maclin is focused ahead of his rematch for the IMPACT World Title tonight.


Impact Digital Media Championship
Eddie Edwards vs. Joe Hendry (c)

Eddie Edwards challenges Joe Hendry for the Digital Media Championship! Hendry has him reeling in the early going as he takes Edwards down with a running shoulder tackle. Hendry easily avoids a top rope crossbody, allowing him to connect with a stalling suplex. Edwards baits him in and hits a running clothesline to gain control. Edwards slows the pace, grounding Hendry with a wear-down submission. Edwards delivers a thumb to the eye but all that does is fire up the champ. Hendry fights back, connecting with a Fallaway Slam. Edwards blocks the Standing Ovation but Hendry hits him with a running cutter instead. Hendry hits a pop-up powerbomb for a very close near fall. Edwards fires back with a Blue Thunder Bomb for two. Edwards powerbombs Hendry off the second rope but Hendry counters the follow-up into the Standing Ovation. Hendry scores the pinfall to retain the Digital Media Title.

Killer Kelly vs. Aysha

Aysha looks to make a name for herself against top IMPACT Knockout Killer Kelly! Aysha retreats to the outside following a running kick from Kelly. The assault continues as Kelly hits another boot from the apron. Kelly hits a deadlift fisherman’s suplex for two. Aysha finds a window of opportunity as uses Kelly’s hair to whip her down to the mat. Aysha hits a running bulldog for a two count of her own. Kelly fights back with a series of headbutts, followed by a butterfly suplex into the turnbuckles. Aysha hits a neckbreaker, backstabber combo but Kelly kicks out just in time. Aysha sprays Kelly in the face with champagne and rolls her up for two. Kelly locks in the Killer Clutch to win by submission.

Impact X-Division Championship Three-Way Match
Frankie Kazarian vs. Robbie Eagles vs. Chris Sabin (c)

It’s every man for himself in this three-way clash for the X-Division Title! They shake hands and the match is on. Eagles tries to surprise Sabin with a springboard Moonsault but Sabin sees it coming and takes him down with a clothesline. Sabin hits Eagles with the Stroke before tying up both of his opponents in a unique submission. Kazarian soars with a pair of Guillotine leg drops. Kazarian locks in a submission on Sabin, then rolls up Eagles for two. Kazarian traps Eagles in a Boston Crab but is forced to break it when he turns his attention towards Sabin. Kazarian hits Sabin with a modified Codebreaker for two. Sabin launches himself off the apron with one rolling senton after another. Eagles soars through the ropes, colliding with Kazarian on the floor. Back in the ring, Eagles targets the knee of Sabin with a low springboard dropkick. Eagles misses a 450 splash as Kazarian catches him with a slingshot cutter. Kazarian gets dumped to the outside, allowing Sabin to put Eagles away with the Cradle Shock.

Moose & Brian Myers vs. ABC (Ace Austin & Chris Bey)

With the 4-way match for the IMPACT World Tag Team Titles quickly approaching at Slammiversary, momentum is up for grabs between ABC and the reunited team of Moose and Brian Myers! Ace dives through the ropes, colliding with Myers on the outside. Bey is next to fly but Moose catches him in mid-air and hits a powerbomb on the hardest part of the ring. Moose and Myers cut off the ring and prevent Bey from making the tag. Moose hits Bey with a thunderous standing Uranage for two. Bey pulls down the top rope, sending Moose toppling to the floor. Bey is about to make the tag but Moose rips Austin off the apron. Bey gets dragged to the other side of the ring where Moose and Myers continue the assault. Moose launches himself off the top rope but Bey catches him with a mid-air cutter to create some much-needed separation. Bey finally makes the tag as Ace comes in with a burst of speed. Ace connects with a pinpoint spin kick on Myers. Moments later, Myers hits Bey with the Roster Cut clothesline but Ace breaks the pin. Everyone is down following a flurry of high-impact offense. Bey rolls up Myers to score the victory.

Backstage: Steph De Lander

Steph De Lander is out to rewrite history when she battles Deonna Purrazzo next.

Deonna Purrazzo looks to tune-up for her Knockouts World Title defense against Gisele Shaw tomorrow night! Purrazzo hits a sliding dropkick to the floor. De Lander picks Purrazzo up and drops her face-first on the apron. De Lander slows the pace as she begins the wear-down process on Purrazzo. De Lander locks in a bear hug before connecting with a clothesline. Purrazzo builds momentum by sending De Lander shoulder-first into the steel ring post. Purrazzo hits a side Russian leg sweep, then locks in the Fujiwara Armbar. De Lander crawls to the bottom rope to break the hold. De Lander counters Queens Gambit into a chokeslam for two. De Lander hits a big boot but it’s still not enough to keep Purrazzo down. De Lander is about to use the microphone as a weapon but the referee stops her. Purrazzo locks in the Fujiwara Armbar once again to win by submission.

Winner: Deonna Purrazzo via Submission to retain the Impact Knockouts World Championship.

Steve Maclin vs. Alex Shelley (c)

Steve Maclin receives his contractually-obligated rematch for Alex Shelley’s IMPACT World Title in tonight’s main event! Shelley hits a running clothesline out of the corner. Maclin returns the favor by taking the champ of his feet moments later. Shelley delivers a superkick, followed by a knee strike from the apron. Shelley ties up Maclin, then connects with a pinpoint backstabber. Maclin dodges a baseball slide dropkick on the floor, allowing him to hit a back suplex on the hardest part of the ring. Back in the ring, Maclin locks in a Boston Crab submission to do some serious damage to Shelley’s back. Maclin bends the back of Shelley around the steel ring post to continue the focused attack. Shelley creates separation with a leg whip on the ropes but Maclin shuts down his momentum. Maclin hits an Olympic Slam for two. Now it’s Shelley who targets the left knee of Maclin as he tries to ground the big man. Shelley connects with a spinning fisherman’s suplex. Shelley kicks him in the face, then locks in the Figure Four. Shelley wants Sliced Bread on the apron but Maclin counters into a spear. Maclin almost puts him away with a running knee in the corner. Shelley counters KIA into Shellshock to retain the IMPACT World Title.
