Final Participants for Blood & Guts Match to be Revealed on Wednesday’s Dynamite Show

AEW CEO Tony Khan recently announced on Twitter that this Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show will feature the official announcement of the final members of Blackpool Combat Club and The Elite’s teams for the Blood & Guts match at the July 19th Dynamite show in Boston, Massachusetts.

This upcoming match currently consists of Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, and Konosuke Takeshita for BCC’s team and Kenny Omega, Hangman Adam Page, and The Young Bucks for The Elite’s team.


AEW All In Ticket Sales Update – 70,000 Tickets Sold

As noted before, AEW has sold around 68,000 tickets for their upcoming All In event at Wembley Stadium in London, England and had distributed over 75,000 tickets as of this past Thursday.

A recent episode of The Green Zone podcast had AEW CEO Tony Khan as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Khan providing an update stating that AEW has sold around 70,000 tickets for their upcoming All In event. Khan also stated that AEW’s upcoming All In event has also currently generated a live gate revenue of around $9 million.

“It’s about 70,000 tickets sold for about $9 million US in ticket sales for that one show in London at Wembley Stadium. It’s going to be a massive event. We are opening more seats up for that.”

Warner Bros Discovery’s Current Expectations for AEW Collision

Warner Bros Discovery reportedly are more focused on key demographic rankings than viewership numbers for their current expectations for AEW Collision, according to Fightful Select.

It was reported that while those spoken to within AEW did not respond yet about their expectations, those spoken to within WBD stated that the company is currently more interested in how Collision performs in key demographic rankings than a particular viewership number. Those spoken to within WBD reportedly stated that they current expect Collision to rank consistently high for their shows for Saturday nights just like how Dynamite has been for Wednesday nights.

In regards to a specific expectation, those same sources reportedly stated that WVD would largely consider a Top 5 key demographic ranking as a success for Collision. Those same sources reportedly also stated that WBD officials are well aware that Collision will face stiff sports competition from college football during the fall period of the year.

It was reported that Collision’s performance on TNT will be integral towards AEW landing a new higher paying media rights deal. AEW officials reportedly currently feel that a new higher paying deal will be a huge addition financially for the company. It was also reported that talks between AEW and WBD for a potential new deal are currently on-going.
