In a recent interview with the Cultaholic Wrestling podcast, AEW Fight Forever’s Lead Narrative Designer Justin Leeper gave his thoughts on if there are currently any plans to expand the game’s Road To Elite mode with a future update. Leeper stated “No, we haven’t really gone into that but truth told, I’m in a different role at a different company right now. I would definitely be willing to investigate how we can expand on Road To Elite because again, it’s not a wide mode but it’s a tall mode and if we could widen it a little bit, that’d be great. If we could find some way to do DLC, that would be really neat. Even [to] get some of the characters involved to do their own bespoke, I think that would be really neat but again I’m not in the know on that stuff.” (Transcript h/t: Fightful.com)

In a recent interview with Tokyo Sports, Jon Moxley gave his thoughts on his interest in a potential match with SANADA for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship in the future. Moxley stated “I’ve been WWE World Heavyweight Champion and AEW World Champion, but I’m not IWGP World Heavyweight Champion yet… If I were to fight SANADA, I’d have an image of myself as the IWGP World Champion, so I think it would be interesting.” (English translation via PostWrestling.com)

Following Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show in Edmonton, Kenny Omega gave a post-show speech to the crowd teasing the identity of the mystery fifth member of The Elite’s team for their upcoming Blood & Guts match. Omega stated “Now you guys listen to this. There was a week when my whereabouts were unknown. I didn’t stay home. I didn’t go to Canada. I went to recruit an old friend, somebody who’s very near and dear to my heart. I’ve got no doubt in my mind that as much as he cares about me, he cares about the men in this ring, he cares about this promotion, he cares about changing the face of professional wrestling. At Blood and Guts in two weeks, there is no way we lose.” (Transcript h/t: Fightful.com, @DrainBamager)
