Kota Ibushi Comments on Online Criticisms of His Performance in Blood & Guts Match

Kota Ibushi recently reflected on Twitter about the online criticisms over his performance during the Blackpool Combat Club vs. The Golden Elite Blood & Guts match at this past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show.

“I’m home

It’s my fault that I didn’t know thumbtacks and glass after all this time.

I have thin wrestling shoes, so it penetrated and it was just painful from the middle, and I ended up moving like an old man.

I’m sorry! Far from being unable to kick, both ankles were stiff

Life with a cane for the first time in my life No, I’ll be cured tomorrow!

That is Kota Ibushi!”

Jose The Assistant Comments on RUSH’s Reason for Signing New AEW Deal & Offers from Other Promotions

As noted before, RUSH signed a new official contract with AEW this past Monday. Prior to his signing, both AEW and WWE were interested in signing him to a potential deal with AEW’s offer being for more money.

RUSH’s manager Jose The Assistant recently commented on Twitter stating that RUSH had several offers from other places but he decided to stay in AEW due to AEW CEO Tony Khan has shown a lot of care towards RUSH’s family and family being the most important to RUSH.

Jeff Hardy Comments on Future of His Career & Wanting to “Elevate” Back to AEW Dynamite

MuscleManMalcolm held a recent interview with Jeff Hardy. One of the topics discussed included Hardy’s thoughts on the future of his wrestling career.

“I have no idea. I’m a big believer that something could happen before I get home tonight that would end my career. It’s the little things that kill sometimes. I can’t put a number on it, but I feel like I’m going to be rocking until I’m 50. I’m 45 now. Between now and 50, I think I’m going to create many more moments.”

Hardy also gave his thoughts about his time in AEW since he returned from suspension this past April and wanting to get back on track in AEW’s tag team division.

“It’s a constant battle for me to elevate myself back to the Dynamite show. Hopefully, eventually. [Rampage] is kind of the B Show, but you just go out there and give the people what they want and get their money’s worth. Naturally, the ultimate goal is for myself and Matt is the AEW World Tag Team Championships. We were so close before I got myself in a hell of a mess that I got myself into, but now that I’m coming out of that, it’s within reach. We’re using the Rampage moments to hopefully, eventually, create huge Dynamite moments.”
