In-Ring: Randy Orton

WWE SmackDown kicks off with Randy Orton’s music and out here comes to the ring. We see highlights of Randy Orton getting the win against Cody Rhodes at Sunday Night’s Main Event.

The fans chant “Randy” and he asks the fans what they want to talk about. He says he wants to talk about Cody Rhodes. He says at Sunday Night’s Main Event, in front of Cody’s friends, family, mother and wife, Cody showed the entire world who he is, who Randy has always known him to be. He says Cody is no killer, Cody is a good man. He is a good father, a good husband, he’s a good friend. Orton says it takes a lot to put down a legend, it takes a lot. He says to take it from someone who made a name for himself years ago by systematically killing legends. He says it takes a piece of your soul. He knows one thing and that is that Cody’s soul is not for sale. He says Cody is no killer but he is and he doesn’t care, he doesn’t give a rats ass if anyone perceives him to be a good person or not. He says that means nothing to him.

Orton says anyone that comes in between him and number 15, his World Championship, he will not hesitate to pull the trigger, to empty that clip. He says tonight, whoever walks out as Undisputed Champion, to know that he is coming for them. He is coming for them with the three most dangerous letters in all of sports entertainment, RKO. Orton drops the microphone and leaves the ring.

Backstage: Chelsea Green, Nick Aldis, Tiffany Stratton

We cut to the back and Nick Aldis is with Chelsea Green. She says she knows her mask is staying on and she thanks him because she needed to keep the title. Aldis says she earned it and good luck. She walks away and is stopped by Tiffany Stratton. She tells Green she wasn’t going to miss her first title defence and she will be in her corner.

AAA World Cruiserweight Championship
Ricky Saints vs. Rey Fenix (c)

The bell rings and we are under way. Rey with right hands and Rey with an acrobatic arm drag. Rey grabs Saints but Saints with an arm drag. Rey with a poisonrana. He goes for the cover but Saints kicks out. Rey grabs Saints but Saints throws him to the outside.

Back from commercial, Saints walks the top rope and he jumps onto Rey. Saints places Rey on the top rope and he goes for a suplex but Rey with right hands. Rey with chops to the chest and a hurricanrana. Rey gets on the ring apron and he climbs the top rope. Rey with a moon sault. He goes for the cover but Saints kicks out. Saints gets on the ring apron and Rey walks the top rope and he kicks him with the goodbye amigo. Saints to the outside and Rey climbs the second rope, landing a moon sault. He throws Saints back into the ring. Rey climbs the top rope and he lands a cross body. He goes for the cover but Saints kicks out. Rey climbs the second rope and he jumps but Saints powerbombs him. He goes for the cover but Rey kicks out. Saints with the Revolution DDT. He goes for the cover but Rey kicks out. Saints throws Rey to the ropes but Rey with a kick to the face. He grabs Saints but Saints with a kick to the side of the head. Saints lifts Rey up but Rey to the ropes and Rey with a hand spring stunner. He goes for the cover but Saints kicks out. He places Saints on the second rope and Rey with a Mexican Muscle Buster. He goes for the cover and gets the pin.

Winner: Rey Fenix via Pinfall to retain the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship.

After the match, Rey extends his hand for a hand shake but Saints leaves the ring.

Backstage: Sami Zayn, Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae

We cut to the back and Cathy Kelley is with Sami Zayn. He tells her he knows what everyone is thinking. He says it’s not about him, it’s about justice. And he was perfectly happy, it didn’t have to be him. He tried to help Kevin Owens get the win against CM Punk but he didn’t want it. He would have been happy if it was Johnny Gargano but it didn’t work out. He says he realizes that it could never have been Owens, Gargano, Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Gunther or Finn Balor. Zayn says it has to be him. For there to be justice, it has to be him. He says Punk stole it from him and tonight, he takes back the WWE Championship. In comes Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae. Zayn tells him tonight is the night. Gargano tells Zayn just like last week, if Zayn wins, he has next. Zayn tells him he got him.

Nikki Bella vs. Paige

The bell rings and we are under way. Paige with right hands and she throws Bella across the ring. Paige with a kick to the face and Bella rolls to the outside of the ring. Paige to the outside and she throws Bella into the barricade. She throws Bella into the Spanish announce table. Paige throws Bella back into the ring but Bella rolls back to the outside. Bella trips Paige and drags her to the outside of the ring. She grabs Paige but Paige throws Bella into the barricade. She throws Bella into the ring steps. She throws Bella back into the ring. Paige gets in the ring, Bella trips her up, goes for the cover, Bella gets her feet on the ropes for leverage and gets the pin.

Winner: Nikki Bella via Pinfall.

Backstage: Lash Legend, Nia Jax

We cut to the Cathy Kelley who is backstage with Lash Legend and Nia Jax. She says that Green’s title reign is a travesty and she will end Green’s career. Legend says if Tiffany has any ideas, she will break her ribs.

In-Ring: Trick Williams, Lil Yachty, Baron Corbin

Back from commercial, Trick’s music hits and out comes Trick Williams to the ring. Trick says the fans are chanting Quinones, who is the best football player that Mexico has to offer, just like Trick is the best superstar WWE has to offer. And just like Quinones kicks the ball into the goal, he took Corbin’s head, he smacked it up and down a few times and he kicks his ass all night long. Trick kicks a ball into the fans. He says they call him Tricky Two Times and with Money in the Bank around the corner, he could be Tricky Two Titles.

Trick says he has to bring out his boy who survived the five minutes, without him, he would not have gotten his title shot. Trick introduces Lil Yachty to the ring. Trick says he has to introduce Lil Yachty properly and he asks for a drum roll. Trick introduces him as the five minute man, the self proclaimed greatest man alive, Lil Yachty. Out comes Baron Corbin dragging Lil Yachty. Trick leaves the ring and Corbin runs to the back. Out come WWE officials and Trick helps Lil Yachty back up. Out comes Corbin who hits Trick from behind with a kendo stick.

Backstage: Finn Balor, Nick Aldis, Danhausen, Gunther

We cut to Nick Aldis and Finn BAlor. He tells Aldis that he heard Orton say he wants to go for the title but he meant what he said, the line starts with Balor. In comes Danhausen behind them. Aldis tells him that Balor wants to think about Money in the Bank. Danhausen asks him if he said human moneys in the bank and Aldis tells him he will tell him about it after. In comes Gunther and he says Balor peaked 10 years ago. If he had any decency for himself, he would have hung up his boots a long time ago. Maybe he needs someone to beat it into him to actually see it. Gunther walks away and Balor calls him a whiny little bitch. Guntehr turns back and Balor hits him with a right hand. Balor and Aldis leave. Gunther gets up, Danhausen stands behind him scared and leaves.

WWE Women’s Championship
Nia Jax vs. Chelsea Green (c)

The bell rings and we are under way. Green with a drop kick. Nia runs towards Green but Green throws her to the outside of the ring. Green with a suicide dive but Nia grabs her and throws her into the ring apron. Nia throws Greenback into the ring. Green with right hands but Nia throws her into the turnbuckle. Nia goes for a splash but Green moves out of the way. Green with a kick to the side of the head. Green climbs the top rope and she lands a drop kick. Nia falls to the outside of the ring. Green gets on the ring apron and goes for a kick but Nia trips her up. Nia throws Green into the barricade. Nia throws Green back into the ring. She lands a urinagi and a senton. She goes for the cover but Green kicks out. Nia grabs Green and Nia sits on the top rope. Nia grabs Greenby the mask but the referee breaks it up. Green with a kick to the face and she throws Nia off the top rope. Green with a hurricanrana. Green grabs Nia but Nia with a Samoan drop. She goes for the cover but Green kicks out. Nia takes Green’s mask off and she throws her to the outside of the ring. Nia distracts the referee. Legend goes for a right hand onto Green but Tiffany moves Green out of the way and Legend hits Tiffany. Green gets in the ring and Nia with a right hand. Nia goes for the Annihilator but Green moves out of the way. Green puts her mask back on. She hangs Nia onto the top rope. Green climbs the top rope and she goes for the Unpretty Her. She goes for the cover and gets the pin.

Winner: Chelsea Green via Pinfall to retain the WWE Women’s Championship.

Backstage: CM Punk

We cut to Cathy Kelley who is backstage with CM Punk. He tells her that sometimes bad behavior needs to be taught a lesson. He says all eyes are on the Champion but if you think he came to Mexico City to lose his title to a guy who broke his hand jerking it to his nine day fluke title win, you have another thing coming. The air is rare, 8000 feet and even more rare when you are on the champ’s shoulders. When he hits him with the GST, he will understand whyh he is CM Punk, why he is the Champion, best in the world, Mexico, CM Punk.

AAA World Tag Team Championship
R-Truth & Damian Priest vs. War Raiders (Ivar & Erik) (c)

The bell rings and the War Raiders attack R-Truth and Damian Priest. Ivar with a splash onto R-Truth. He goes for the cover but R-Truth kicks out. Erik is tagged in and they double team R-Truth. Erik goes for the cover but R-Truth kicks out. Priest is tagged in and as is Ivar. Both teams fight in the ring. The War Raiders to the outside of the ring. Priest jumps off the ring steps and lands a splash onto the War Raiders.

Back from commercial, R-Truth with a shoulder tackle onto Erik and the five knuckle shuffle. Ivar is tagged in and R-Truth with the AA. He goes for the cover but Erik breaks it up. Priest gets in the ring and he hits Erik with a right hand. Priest to the ropes but the War Raiders double team him. R-Truth runs towards Ivar and Ivar with a kick to the face. Erik is tagged in and they power bomb him. Erik goes for the cover and gets the pin.

Winner: War Raiders via Pinfall to retain the AAA World Tag Team Championship.

Damian Priest gets in the ring after the match. He and R-Truth hug. Priest asks for a sombrero and he places it on R-Truth but Priest hits R-Truth with a clothesline. He grabs R-Truth and hits him with South of Heaven.

Backstage: Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, Fatal Influence, Tatum Paxley

We cut to the back and Alexa Bliss is with Charlotte Flair. Bliss tells her it was one misshap and in come Fatal Influence. Flair asks them if they have a problem because she is not in the mood today. Jayne tells her that her mood will only get worse with Money in the Bank. In comes Tatum Paxley and she tells them to hang on to the Tag Team titles. Jayne calls Paxley a freak and says she is Bliss and Flair’s problem. They walk away. Flair tells Tatum that she knows she can trust Alexa but asks if she can trust her because what happened at Sunday Night’s Main Event, she hopes was just a rookie mistake.

Backstage: Rey Fenix, Ricky Saints

Cathy Kelley is backstage with Rey Fenix. He tells her that a win for Penta would mean a lot. He says tonight was a great match, on Sunday he has to defend his title at TripleMania and on Monday, Penta could win the title. In comes Saints and he apologizes. He says Fenix is the better man and they shake hands. Saints walks away. Fenix turns to Kelley but Saints hits Fenix from behind. He throws him into a garage door. Saints says but tonight, he is the better man and he walks away.

Undisputed WWE Championship
Sami Zayn vs. CM Punk (c)

The bell rings and we are under way. Punk with right hands and he gets Zayn in the corner. Punk climbs the second rope and he hits Zayn with right hands. Zayn rolls to the outside of the ring and Punk with a suicide dive.

Back from commercial, Punk holds his left knee in pain. He rolls onto the ring apron and Zayn rolls to the outside of the ring. Zayn with a right hand to Punk’s knee. Zayn slams Punk’s knee into the ring post. Zayn gets back into the ring. Both men with right hands and Punk with a swinging neck breaker. Punk goes for the GTS but Zayn grabs Punk’s leg and he gets him in the figure four leg lock. Punk rolls to the ropes and the referee breaks it up.

Back from commercial, Punk goes for a bulldog but his knee gives away. Zayn’s left wrist is hurting him. He goes for the Blue Thunder Bomb but he can’t pick Punk up. Punk grabs Zayn but Zayn with the Blue Thunder Bomb. He goes for the cover but Punk kicks out. Zayn with a suplex into the turnbuckle. Zayn goes for the Helluva Kick but Punk with a clothesline. Punk with the GTS but Punk holds his knee in pain. He goes for the cover but Zayn kicks out.

Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae run to the outside of the ring. He gets on the ring apron and that distracts Punk. Zayn rolls Punk up for the cover but Punk kicks out. Zayn with the figure four leg lock but Punk grabs Zayn’s bad wrist. LeRae gets on the ring apron. Punk with the Anaconda Vice and Zayn is tapping out but the referee is distracted. Gargano grabs the title and gets in the ring. He goes to hit Punk with it but Punk with the GTS. The referee rolls Gargano to the outside of the ring. In comes Kevin Owens and he grabs the title. He goes to hit Zayn with it but Zayn moves out of the way and Owens accidentally hits Punk with it. Zayn with a low blow onto Owens. Zayn throws the title to the outside of the ring. Zayn with the Helluva Kick. He goes for the cover and gets the pin.

Winner: Sami Zayn via Pinfall to become the new Undisputed WWE Champion.

He celebrates and SmackDown goes off the air.
