Official Cause of Death for The Iron Sheik Revealed

As noted before, WWE Hall of Famer The Iron Sheik, real name Hossein Khosrow Ali Vaziri, passed away this past June at the age of 81.

TMZ Sports reported that the official cause for The Iron Sheik’s passing was due to a cardiac arrest that took place while he was asleep based on his official death certificate document.

It was reported that prior to his passing, The Iron Sheik had been suffering from congestive heart failure and hypertension.


Updated Match Added to Card of ROH Death Before Dishonor 2023

Ring of Honor recently announced one new updated match for the card of their Death Before Dishonor 2023 event, which takes place on Friday. July 21st in Trenton, New Jersey.

This is a ROH World Championship match of PAC vs. Claudio Castagnoli (c).

This match was setup on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show in Boston, Massachusetts that featured PAC and Castagnoli competing in a Blood & Guts match for the Blackpool Combat Club’s team. Near the end of the match, PAC and Castagnoli got into a heated confrontation over Castagnoli accidentally hitting him, which led to PAC leaving the match but not before slamming the cage door onto Castagonil’s face.

Following the show, PAC issued a challenge to Castagnoli for his ROH World title at Death Before Dishonor 2023 which Castagnoli accepted.

Dark Side of the Ring Ratings – July 18, 2023 – Up

Tuesday’s episode of Dark Side of the Ring drew 178,000 viewers on VICE TV, up from last week’s 152,000 viewers.

It drew a 0.06 rating in the 18-49 demographic, up from last week’s 0.04 rating.

This episode focused on Abdullah The Butcher.
