As noted before, AEW is currently rumored to be working on potential plans for a Chris Jericho vs. Will Ospreay match to take place at their upcoming All In event on August 27th at Wembley Stadium in London, England.
Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that his sources stated that AEW officials are currently rumored to be working on plans for two other potential new matches for the card of their All In event.
The first match that has been rumored for a while reportedly is a Trios match of Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, & Wheeler Yuta) vs. Eddie Kingston, Orange Cassidy, & mystery partner. Meltzer reported that if this rumor is accurate, AEW likely will officially announce or strongly tease this match during this weekend due to both Kingston and Ospreay will be traveling from Japan and will be available to make an appearance at next week’s Dynamite show.
The second match that is currently rumored reportedly is a Trios match of Kenny Omega, Adam Page, & Kota Ibushi vs. Jay White, Juice Robinson, & Konosuke Taksehita.
Meltzer reported that the previously rumored singles match of Omega vs. Takeshita for All In might likely be taking place instead at the following week’s All Out 2023 event in Chicago, Illinois.
