AEW’s pay-per-view buys for their All In event this past Sunday at Wembley Stadium in London, England reportedly is currently estimated to be between the second and fourth highest ever in company history, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Dave Meltzer reported that the current estimates and data have AEW’s All In event generating the largest PPV buys since their Double or Nothing 2022 event. Meltzer reported that All In’s ranking in AEW PPV history will be dependent on the numbers from late buys which is the reason for its current ranking range.
Meltzer reported that besides the early start time for the event in United States, another major factor that could end up holding down All In’s buys numbers from reaching a higher number is due to a replay of the event had aired on August 31st as a five-hour block on free television in the United Kingdom. Another potential major factor reportedly involves a lot of people in the U.K. and Europe who wanted to watch the event likely would have done so as part of the live crowd and not at home which would drag down the European buys number for the event.
Meltzer reported that the current estimates for All In are around 20-30% higher than what AEW had generated for their recent PPV events. This reportedly means that All In’s buys is currently estimated to be somewhere between 168,000 to 184,000.
In terms of breakdowns, Meltzer reported that cable television PPV buys were up 31.5% compared to this past June’s Forbidden Door II event. While the numbers for streaming is currently not known, Meltzer reported that if the streaming buys for the event are at a similar increase, that would mean All In’s buys would be closer to the upper range limit of 184,000.
