Piper Niven Makes Surprise Return at Monday’s RAW Show

Monday’s WWE RAW show at the Norfolk Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia featured Piper Niven making her surprise return from illness.

During a backstage interview segment involving WWE interviewer Jackie Redmond and Shayna Baszler, Baszler gave her thoughts about Zoey Stark surprising her last week with her effort during their match. Before Baszler was able to continue, Chelsea Green walked in and interrupted Baszler. Green stated that she was looking for a new partner for her WWE Women’s Tag Team titles since her partner was not cleared yet and offered the spot to Baszler. Baszler rejected and said they were not peers and challenged her to a match to show how large the gap was between them.

After Baszler left, Niven appeared and let Green known she was medically cleared and took back her title belt from Green.

Tiffany Stratton Makes Surprise Appearance & NXT Women’s Title Match Contract Signing

Monday’s RAW show in Norfolk also featured NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton making a surprise appearance.

During the show, Stratton was seen in WWE official Adam Pearce’s office demanding to know where Becky Lynch was. Lynch quickly showed up afterwards which led to Stratton claiming that she has been nothing but respectful to Lynch and might have let her emotions get the best of her. Stratton stated that she wants to know why Lynch is going after her and her NXT Women’s title. Lynch responded stating that she was not focusing on her but took issue over Stratton coming on her show to get some publicity for her “dead” title. After some more insults, Lynch claimed that she will make Tiffany famous when she takes away her title.

After a retort from Tiffany stating that she does not need Lynch to make her famous, both women signed the match contract to make their NXT Women’s title match for Tuesday’s NXT show official.

Nia Jax Makes Surprise WWE Return at Monday’s RAW Show

Monday’s RAW show in Norfolk also featured Nia Jax making her surprise return to WWE.

Near the end of the WWE Women’s World Championship match between Raquel Rodriguez and champion Rhea Ripley, Jax made her surprise return and attacked Rodriguez at ringside while the referee was distracted. Jax tossed Rodriguez back into the ring leading to Rhea hitting a headbutt and Riptide for the pinfall victory to retain her title.

Following the match, Ripley and Jax had a staredown in the ring that ended with Jax attacking Ripley laying her out to close out the show.
