Jeff Jarrett vs. Eddie Kingston & Andrade El Idolo vs. Bryan Danielson “Dream Match” Announced for Saturday’s AEW Collision Show

Friday’s taped AEW Rampage show in Rosenberg, Texas featured two new matches officially announced for the card for this Saturday’s Collision show in Memphis, Tennessee.

The first new match announced was Memphis Street Fight match of Jeff Jarrett vs. Eddie Kingston.

This match was setup following a backstage segment involving Jay Lethal, Jarrett, and Kingston that was taped at this past Wednesday’s Dynamite show but aired for tonight’s show. Lethal bashed Kingston for being not worthy to hold the ROH World title and claimed that he would never be as good as a champion as he was nor Homicide. This led to ROH Board of Director Stokely Hathaway announcing a Memphis Street Fight match between Jarrett and Kingston for Saturday’s Collision show with the stipulation that if Jarret won, then Lethal would get a shot at Kingston’s ROH World title at this Saturday’s Battle of the Belts VIII event.

The second new match announced was a “Dream match” of Andrade El Idolo vs. Bryan Danielson.

This match was setup following an announcement by AEW CEO Tony Khan prior to the show about having a “dream match” set for the card of this Saturday’s Collision show. During tonight’s Rampage show, AEW commentator Excalibur announced that this match would be Andrade vs. Danielson during his card rundown ad read for AEW’s upcoming set of shows.

John Silver Wins #1 Contender Match for AEW International Title, New Match for Battle of the Belts VIII

Friday’s taped Rampage show also featured John Silver defeating Brother Zay and Kip Sabian in a #1 Contender’s Triple Threat match for the AEW International Championship.

As a result of his victory, Silver will officially challenge Orange Cassidy for his AEW International title at this Saturday’s AEW Battle of the Belts VIII event in Memphis, Tennessee.

ROH Six-Man Tag Team Titles Match Announced for Wednesday’s Dynamite Show

Friday’s taped Rampage show also featured one new match officially announced for the card of the October 25th AEW Dynamite show in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

This new match announced is a ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship match of The Hardys (Matt & Jeff Hardy) & Brother Zay vs. The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) & Hangman Adam Page (c).

This match was setup following a backstage promo segment involving The Elite’s Young Bucks, Page, and Brandon Cutler. During their promo, Page and the Young Bucks gave out an open challenge to any trios team for their ROH World Six-Man Tag Team titles for next week’s Dynamite show.

In a follow-up segment, AEW commentator Excalibur announced that The Hardys & Brother Zay accepted the challenge and AEW CEO Tony Khan made this match official for next week’s Dynamite show in Philadelphia.
