Current Estimates for AEW’s All In, All Out 2023, & WrestleDream PPV Buys

As noted before, AEW is currently estimated to have generated around 187,000 pay-per-view buys for this past August’s All In event at Wembley Stadium and around 95,000 PPV buys for this past September’s All Out 2023 event. During this past Sunday’s WrestleDream post-show media scrum, AEW CEO Tony Khan stated that WrestleDream is estimated to have generated over 100,000 PPV buys.

In regards to WrestleDream, Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that AEW is currently estimated to have generated around 100,000 buys based on current estimates and data. Meltzer reported that this number likely will increase significantly once late buys are factored in.

In regards to the breakdown, Meltzer reported that WrestleDream’s cable television PPV buys were up 16.2% compared to All Out 2023 and down 56.7% compared to All In based on the same time frame of four days after the event. WrestleDream’s streaming buys reportedly were up around 25% compared to All Out 2023. Meltzer reported that AEW’s international late buys from the United Kingdom are currently expected to be lower than usual due to the event had aired for free on ITV 4 on October 4th.

In regards to All Out 2023, Meltzer reported that AEW’s All Out 2023 event is currently estimated to have generated around 115,000 buys as a low end number based on current estimates and data. Meltzer also reported that All Out 2023’s cable television buys were only 14.1% lower than what this past June’s Forbidden Door II event had generated.

Meltzer also reported that the amount of late buys for All Out 2023 ended up being the highest percentage for a wrestling PPV event that he is aware of and also the highest ever for an AEW event in AEW history.

In regards to All In, Dave Meltzer reported that AEW’s All In event is currently estimated to have generated around 192,000 buys. Meltzer reported that All In generated around a 21.5% increase in buys from late buy purchases and was up 36.9% compared to this past June’s Forbidden Door II event in regards to cable television buys.
