Impact: Alex Shelley Suffered Calf Injury, Heath’s Contract Expired, Final Resolution Event Announced for This December

Alex Shelley Suffered Injury & Pulled from Impact’s Turning Point 2023 Event

Impact reportedly pulled Alex Shelley from their Turning Point 2023 event on Friday in Newcastle, England due to Shelley recently suffering an injury, according to PWInsider.

Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that Shelley had recently suffered a serious muscle pull in his calf and was not able to compete at the event. Despite the injury, Shelley reportedly was in attendance backstage at the event but was seen noticeably hurting. Johnson reported that Impact officials are currently monitoring Shelley’s injury status and his potential availability for the remainder of their tour.

In a separate report, Johnson reported that Frankie Kazarian replaced Shelley for his scheduled tag team match with Chris Sabin against Moose & Brian Myers at the event.


Heath’s Impact Contract Reportedly Expired Last Week

Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that Heath’s contract with Impact Wrestling recently expired and has departed from the company.

It was reported that Heath’s contract had expired following last weekend’s Bound For Glory 2023 event and Impact! television tapings in Cicero, Illinois.

Prior to his departure, Heath had been working for Impact since July of 2020.


Impact Announces Final Event Under Impact Banner Called Final Resolution for This December

Impact Wrestling recently announced that they will be holding a new event called Final Resolution on December 9th at the Don Kolov Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

It was announced that this will be an Impact+ special and the final event under the Impact brand name.

Tickets for this upcoming event was announced to officially go on sale starting on November 3rd.

TNA Wrestling confirmed today on-sale dates for tickets to the last live show under the IMPACT Wrestling brand and the first two under the TNA Wrestling banner.

FINAL RESOLUTION is an IMPACT+ special set for Saturday, December 9, at the Don Kolov Arena in Toronto – and tickets will go on-sale Friday, November 3, at 9 a.m. EST.

HARD TO KILL will air live around the world on pay-per-view on Saturday, January 13, 2024, from the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas – and tickets will go on-sale on Saturday, November 4, at 1 p.m. EST. In addition, the SNAKE EYES EXTRAVAGANZA, set for Sunday, January 14, 2024 at The Palms, also will go on-sale on November 4.

Matches for Final Resolution will be announced in the coming weeks, though championship matches have been confirmed. Final Resolution will feature such stars as reigning World Champion Alex Shelley, X Division Champion Chris Sabin and Knockouts World Champion Trinity, among others. Josh Alexander, Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers, Moose, Jordynne Grace and Gisele Shaw also have been confirmed to appear at Final Resolution.

Matches for Hard To Kill also will be announced in the coming weeks, but company officials confirmed that the new year will launch a new-look TNA Wrestling that runs from the entrance ramp to turnbuckles in the ring, and much, much more. Hard To Kill marks the first-ever TNA Wrestling show at The Palms.
