Saturday’s Collision show also featured one new match announced for the December 6th AEW Dynamite show in Montreal, Ontario, Canada.

This new match announced was a TNT Championship match of Adam Copeland vs. Christian Cage (c).

This match was setup following Killswitch’s (former Luchasarus) victory over The Boys in a 2-on-1 Handicap match. Killswitch proceeded to attack The Boys after the match resulting in Copeland running out with a chair and laid out Killswitch with multiple chair shots. Copeland then hit a Con-Chair-To to Killswitch that only momentarily put down Killswitch leading to Copeland hitting a curb stomp to Killswitch on a chair and followed it with another Con-Chair-To to put him down for good.

In a follow-up backstage segment, AEW backstage interviewer Lexy Nair tried to get a word with Copeland to explain his actions. Copeland told Nair to leave and gave a promo stating his issues with Cage and Cage’s comments in recent weeks mentioning his family and threatening to break his neck. Copeland stated that he now has two heads on his wall in Nick Wayne and Killswitch and wants to take Cage’s TNT title next since its the most important thing in Cage’s world. Copeland then issued a challenge to Cage for a TNT title match at the December 6th Dynamite show in Montreal.
