Wednesday’s Dynamite show in Portland featured one new match officially announced for AEW Full Gear 2023, which takes place on November 18th at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, California.

This new match announced is a tag team match of The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) vs. The Golden Jets (Chris Jericho & Kenny Omega).

This match was setup following a backstage segment involving The Young Bucks, Omega, and Jericho. Renee Young held a backstage interview with Omega and Jericho about their upcoming 8-Man Tag Team Street Fight against The Don Callis Family only to be quickly interrupted by The Young Bucks. Matt and Nick Jackson proceeded to bash Jericho and Omega with Omega taking the brunt of it over the Bucks being upset claiming that he has abandoned The Elite to be with Jericho instead. After some banter between the two sides, The Young Bucks issued a challenge for a tag team match at Full Gear 2023, which Jericho responded by adding the stipulation of The Young Bucks putting their guaranteed title shot at the AEW World Tag Team Championship on the line. Matt Jackson responded that they agree but only on the condition that if Omega and Jericho loses, then the Golden Jets must disband. Omega and Jericho accepted the Bucks stipulation and left.
