Update on Identity of AEW’s Mystery Devil Mask Character

Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that the person who has worn the mystery AEW Devil mask for the character’s appearances on AEW shows are actually who is planned for the eventual unmasking reveal.

It was reported that this is different compared to how WWE officials handled the debut of Retribution where they had different people under the mask who were not planned to be the actual people for the group and had kept it a secret from talent themselves.

In regards to the potential identity of the mystery person, it was reported that those spoken to currently are not under the belief that this is CM Punk nor Britt Baker. In regards to Baker, it was reported that speculation of her being the potential mystery person had revolved around comments she made in a recent interview clamming she was not the AEW Devil but would liked to have been it.
