WWE Reportedly Currently Working on Music Production Changes for WWE RAW Shows

WWE reportedly is currently working on making production changes to their RAW brand television shows within the near future, according to Fightful Select.

It was reported that their sources stated that these upcoming new production changes revolve around new music for RAW shows.

In regards to RAW’s opening theme song, it was reported that WWE officials will be replacing RAW’s current intro theme of “Greatness” by Vo Williams with a new theme that has already been produced. It was also reported that this new intro song could debut as early as last night’s RAW show, which did not take place in the end.

In a follow-up report, Fightful Select reported that their sources had provided additional details regarding RAW’s upcoming new music.

It was reported that RAW’s new intro theme song is titled “Born to Be” and was produced by WWE’s def rebel music group.

It was also reported that three new theme songs will also be played when match announcements are shown with their graphic during shows. These new songs reportedly are “Survival,” “Came To Win It,” and “Eyes Of A Warrior.” These new songs reportedly were also produced by WWE’s def rebel music group.


WWE Announces First Ever SmackDown Show in Germany for August 2024

As noted before, WWE will be holding a new event called Bash in Berlin on August 31, 2024 at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin, Germany. This will be WWE’s first ever PLE event to take place in Germany.

WWE recently announced that they will be also holding a new SmackDown show the night prior on August 30th at the same venue. This will also be WWE’s first ever SmackDown show to take place in Germany.

This marks the first time ever that SmackDown will broadcast from Germany.

WWE News & Notes

As noted before, indie talent Jay Malachi is currently believed to have recently signed a NXT developmental contract with WWE following tryouts this past September. Deadlock Pro Wrestling recently announced that Malachi has relinquished his DPW World Championship and has finished up his commitments with the company.

As noted before, Gunther is currently in the process of establishing legal residency in the United States and is unable to leave the country for the next six months. In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Gunther explained why he is currently not allowed to leave the U.S. and his status for WWE’s Bash in Berlin event next year in Germany. Gunther stated “I’m applying for my green card. During that process, you can’t leave the country for a little bit. But the PLE is in August. It should be over by then.

As noted before, NXT talent Nikkita Lyons has been out of action for WWE since this past January due to a torn ACL and meniscus injury. Lyons recently provided an update on Twitter in response to a fan question. This fan stated “How’s your recovery going?” and Lyons responded stating “Will be back soon 🫶🏼

In a recent interview with The Kurt Angle Show podcast, WWE Hall of Famer and NXT commentator Booker T praised Vic Joseph for all of the help and support that Joseph has given him for his NXT commentary career. Booker T stated “When you do it for two hours straight or three hours straight, it can get pretty serious, because you can’t stop on yourself, you’ve got to have everything in order. For me, it’s been a process. I’m finally really beginning to be comfortable now in NXT but I got Vic Joseph who I’m working with and he’s a huge help, man. I really think I wouldn’t be as far as I am without Vic Joseph being that quarterback out there. He’s setting me up perfectly.” (Transcript h/t: Fightful.com)

This past Friday’s SmackDown show was notable for featuring WWE Hall of Famer Brian “Road Dogg” James filling in for Corey Graves on commentary. In a recent Oh, You Didn’t Know? video, James reflected on his guest commentary appearance on SmackDown. James stated “Yeah, I wanted to eat a little bit myself, but I get it. I wasn’t there to take away from the product. I wasn’t there to get myself over or try to. It wasn’t about me. We’re going into a PLE, Survivor Series, so it was important to analyze more so than do color commentary. So I felt like I did okay. I got my first time over with, and I loved it, man. I would do… it’s hard with stuff in your ear. Those guys doing those reads and stuff was crazy to me. In a recent interview with the Battleground Podcast, Johnny Gargano gave his thoughts about the possibility of CM Punk returning to WWE in the future. Gargano stated “There are so many eyes currently on WWE television. Obviously, every little bit helps. I mentioned how Logan Paul has taken the United States Championship all over the world with him and getting new eyes on the product. At the end of the day, whatever is going to get more eyes on WWE television, that’s the best move possible. Whoever that may be, whoever they bring in, whatever eyes they bring in.
