Kelani Jordan & Bron Breakker Advances to Men’s & Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge Matches

Tuesday’s taped NXT show featured one Women’s and one Men’s qualifying matches for the Women’s and Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge matches at WWE’s NXT Deadline 2023 event, which takes place on December 9th in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

The first match was Kelani Jordan defeating Kiana James in a Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge Qualifier match.

The finish to the match involved James hitting a 401k to Jordan but before she could attempt a pin on Jordan, the bell suddenly rang. This was revealed to have been Roxanne Perez who rang the bell to distract James due to Perez still having unfinished business with James. This distraction provided the opening for Jordan who kicked James and hit a split-legged moonsault for the pinfall victory to advance to the Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge match.

The second match was Bron Breakker defeating Eddy Thorpe in a Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge Qualifier match.

The finish to this match involved Thorpe hitting a series of elbow strikes and big boot to Breakker’s head which led to Breakker missing a forearm strike to Thorpe in return. Thorpe then hit a series of punches and uppercuts and followed it with a waist lock for a German suplex to Breakker. Thorpe then hit a Saito suplex to Breakker and followed it with another waist lock that was countered by Breakker. Thrope managed to escape Breakker’s hold and hit another German suplex but Breakker responded with a Spear for the pinfall victory to advance to the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge match.

Breakker joins Josh Briggs, Trick Williams, and Dijak for the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge match while Jordan joins Blair Davenport, Lash Legend and Tiffany Stratton for the Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge match at next month’s NXT Deadline 2023 event.

Andre Chase Reveals Gambling & Fraud as Cause of Chase U Scandal

Tuesday’s NXT show featured Andre Chase revealing the official cause for the on-going storyline scandal affecting his Chase University.

During a press conference segment on the show, Chase revealed that certain people at his university have been involved in illegal activities, which he stated were illegal gambling and misusage of university funds. Chase also stated that as a result of those actions, the university has been under criminal investigation and in serious debt. Chase also stated that he takes sole responsibility in resolving this issue and paying back the money owed.

Wes Lee Wins Shot at NXT North American Title at NXT Deadline 2023

Tuesday’s NXT show also featured Wes Lee defeating Bronson Reed, Johnny Gargano, and Cameron Grimes in a Fatal Four-way match to earn a shot at the NXT North American Championship at next month’s NXT Deadline 2023 event.

This match was initially setup during last week’s show involving Dominik Mysterio granting Lee a chance to compete for his NXT North American title but only if he won a four-way match against three former North American champions.

The finish to this match involved Reed grabbing Lee off the top rope and hit a military press slam toss onto Grimes and Gargano. Reed went to the top rope to setup a high flying move only for Ivar to make a surprise appearance and brawled with Reed to the back. After some more action, Grimes hit a Cave In to Gargano to lay him out only to get hit with a Kardiac Kick by Lee who pinned Grimes for the victory to earn a shot at the NXT North American title at NXT Deadline 2023.
