Judgement Day Promotes JD McDonagh to Full Member Status

Monday’s RAW show in Washington, DC featured Judgement Day officially announcing that JD McDonagh has been promoted as a full member of the group.

This was initially setup over the course of the past few months over Finn Balor bringing in McDonagh into the group as an unofficial member over Damian Priest’s constant objections. During tonight’s show, Judgement Day engaged in a mass brawl with Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, and Seth Rollins that led to McDonagh saving Priest from getting hit with a spear by Uso and was the one to get laid out instead.

In a follow-up segment, Judgement Day were seen backstage talking about their upcoming WWE Tag Team Championship defense later and Priest apologizing for saying that he was the leader of the group during his heated promo battle with Cody Rhodes. Rhea Ripley stated that was not an issue since he only said that in the heat of the moment but also believed Priest leading the team for their WarGames match was the right decision to do. Ripley then stated that they were going to head out to pay a visit to McDonagh in medical and let him know he’s now an official member of the group, which led to Priest’s objecting at first but then accepting. Priest stated that he wanted to be the one to give their membership gift to McDonagh on his own and left.

In another follow-up segment, Priest gave a talk to McDonagh backstage about the group wanting to make him an official member. Priest stated that while he had his reservations over the decision since he didn’t like McDongah, he did appreciate what McDonagh did for him earlier and officially inducted him into the group. Priest then pulled out a Judgement Day style jacket for McDonagh to wear as the group’s gift for him.

Drew McIntyre Joins Forces with Judgement Day

Monday’s RAW show in Washington, DC also featured Drew McIntyre officially joining forces with Judgement Day.

This was setup following the main event match of Jey Uso & Cody Rhodes vs. Judgement Day for the Undisputed Tag Team Championship. Near the end of the match, Uso laid out Damian Priest and Finn Balor with a senton dive to the outside. Uso then tossed Balor back into the ring but when he turned around, he was met by McIntyre, who had showed up out of nowhere. McIntyre proceeded to hit Uso with a Claymore Kick and tossed Uso back into the ring while the ref was distracted. This led to Balor covering Uso for the pinfall victory to retain his Undisputed WWE Tag Team titles.

McIntyre walked up to the top of the ramp and stared at Rhodes and Uso in the ring. Rhea Ripley then came out and stood next to McIntyre extending out her hand. McIntyre then shook Ripley’s hand and both smiled at each other revealing that Ripley had made a secret deal with McIntyre after the rest of Judgement Day had been banned from ringside for the match earlier in the show.
