Wins #1 Contender Match for Shot at Intercontinental Title at Survivor Series 2023

Monday’s RAW show in Wilkes-Barre featured The Miz defeating Bronson Reed, Ivar, and Ricochet in a #1 Contender’s Fatal Four-way match for the Intercontinental Championship.

The finish to this match involved Reed and Ivar setting up for a steroe high flying move off the top rope to Ricochet and The Miz. While Ivar was successful in hitting a moonsault to Ricochet, Reed missed hitting his Tsunami after The Miz dodged away. Ivar then pinned Ricochet at the same time as The Miz pinned Reed but Ricochet kicked out while Reed didn’t leading to The Miz becoming the winner and new #1 contender for the Intercontinental title.

As a result of his victory, The Miz will officially challenge Gunther for his Intercontinental Championship at WWE’s Survivor Series 2023 event on November 25th at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois.

Zoey Stark Wins Women’s Battle Royal Match for Shot at WWE Women’s World Title at Survivor Series 2023

Monday’s RAW show in Wilkes-Barre also featured Zoey Stark emerging victorious in a #1 Contender Women’s Battle Royal match for the WWE Women’s World Championship.

The finish to this match involved Stark, Shayna Baszler, and Raquel Rodriguez eliminating Nia Jax while Ivy Nile was on the apron. This led to a angry Jax grabbing Nile’s leg and yanking her off the apron for the elimination leaving just Stark, Baszler, and Rodriguez as the final three. Stark and Baszler then double team attacked Rodriguez leading to Rodriguez lifting both of them causing all three to go over the top rope. While Baszler and Stark landed safely on the apron, Rodriguez was hanging from the second rope trying to not touch the floor. This led to Baszler and Stark swatting Rodriguez off the ropes for the elimination. After some more action on the apron, Stark gave a DDT to Baszler on the apron causing her to fall to the floor for the match victory.

As a result of her victory, Stark will officially challenge Rhea Ripley for her WWE Women’s World Championship at Survivor Series 2023, which takes place on November 25 at the Allstate Arena in Chicago.

Men’s WarGames Match Announced for Survivor Series 2023

Monday’s RAW show in Wilkes-Barre also featured one new match officially announced for WWE’s Survior Series 2023 event, which takes place on November 25th at the Allstate Arena in Chicago.

This new match announced is a Men’s WarGames match of Judgement Day (JD McDonagh, Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor, & Damian Priest) vs. Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn, Jey Uso, & Cody Rhodes.

This match was setup following Rollins victory over Zayn to retain his WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of tonight’s show. Following the match, Judgement Day ran out and attacked Zayn and Rollins leading to Uso and Rhodes coming out for the save and a mass brawl breaking out. Pearce stated that since Judgement Day had four guys and Rollins’ side had four guys, then he was going to end this problem once in for all and announced a WarGames match between the two teams. A mass brawl then broke out again between the two teams to close out the show.
