Chris Jericho & CM Punk’s Lawyer Involved in Online Argument Over All Out 2022 Brawl NDAs, Jericho Claims He Saw Everything That Went Down

Chris Jericho was involved in an online incident on Monday over a heated argument following recent comments made by CM Punk and Ace Steel’s lawyer Stephen P New. Besides being the legal representative of Punk and Steel, New is also the lawyer of former wrestling manager and controversial wrestling podcaster Jim Cornette.

This incident originated over comments New made in a recent interview with the Wrestling With Rip Rodgers podcast regarding Punk and Steel being under a lifetime NDA with AEW over their involvement in the infamous All Out 2022 backstage brawl incident. New claimed that the only person who was involved or witnessed the incident and is not under a NDA is Steel’s wife Lucy

Following New’s comments, Jericho responded hinting that New is not completely correct about who is not under a NDA deal and claimed that he is also not under a NDA deal over the incident.

This argument became heated after New implied that Jericho is under one since it would be something that was outlined in his employee handbook. Jericho responded back claiming that he never signed a NDA nor was ever given an employee handbook and witnessed everything that went down during the All Out 2022 brawl. Jericho also told New to stop with “making egotistical fantasy brags for your clients, and start doing some research before you make blanket statements about your buddies.”

New responded stating that he would be using Jericho’s comments against him and AEW in a potential lawsuit implying that his comments earlier might have just been a ploy or tort at getting a favorable deal for Punk, Steel, and/or Steel’s wife.

Besides Jericho and New, Cornette also decided to get involved on Twitter fueling the incident even more.
