As noted before, WWE laid off around 100 employees this past September following their sale to Endeavor and merger with UFC being finalized. Besides employees, WWE also released a large amount of talent as part of this process.
Wrestlenomics’ Brandon Thurston reported that his sources stated that WWE had another round of layoffs earlier today at their corporate office. The amount of employees laid off today from the company is currently not known.

This follows layoffs of more than 100 employees in September following the closing of the TKO merger.
Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp and PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that their sources confirmed Thurston’s report but no other details regarding the layoffs nor which departments were affected are currently known.
In regards to potential talent releases, NXT backstage interviewer McKenzie Mitchell announced earlier today on Twitter that she was released from WWE. It is currently not known if her release is related to today’s employee layoffs at WWE’s corporate office.
Today I was released by WWE. I met my husband, moved cross country from CT to FL for @wwenxt (a place I’ve always considered home), and met friends that became like family. I’ve always said and firmly believe in “when door closes, another opens.”https://t.co/scUFllumrY pic.twitter.com/s1YCmmTz4Z
