Chuck Taylor Makes Return from Injury at Wednesday’s Dynamite Show

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show featured Chuck Taylor making his surprise return from injury.

Prior to the start of the Best Friends vs. Penta El Miedo Zero & Komander tag team match on the show, Taylor came out with Orange Cassidy and Trent Beretta for their entrance and reuniting together as a group.

This was Taylor’s first appearance in AEW since this past October due to a foot injury.

Roderick Strong vs. Orange Cassidy for AEW International Title Set for AEW Revolution 2024

Wednesday’s Dynamite show also featured one new match announced for the card of AEW Revolution 2024, which takes place on March 3rd in Greensboro, North Carolina.

This new match announced was an AEW International Championship match of Roderick Strong vs. Orange Cassidy (c).

This match was setup following an in-ring promo segment involving Best Friends and Undisputed Kingdom. Following Best Friends’ victory over Penta El Zero Miedo, Best Friends’ victory celebration was cut short by the Undisputed Kingdom who came out to interrupt. Strong confronted Cassidy and stated that he wanted to say what he needed to say directly to his face. Strong called out Cassidy for not defending his AEW International title tonight and claimed if Orange is afraid that he has nothing left in the tank or because that title belong to Strong and not Cassidy can not face that fact. Strong then stated that he is coming for that title and Cassidy will need to face that happening. After some foul mouthed insults by the crowd, Cassidy responded stating that he is offering to do this right here and now. Strong backed away at first and then got right back in stating that the champ will have to wait until March 3rd for Revolution 2024 since he wants Cassidy to deal with the fact that he will lose that belt at the event.

Current card for AEW Revolution 2024:

  • AEW International Championship – Roderick Strong vs. Orange Cassidy (c)

Bullet Club Gold Wins ROH Six-Man Tag Tiles at Wednesday’s Dynamite Show

Wednesday’s Dynamite show also featured Bullet Club Gold defeating The Mogul Embassy to become the new ROH World Sox-Man Tag Team Champions.

The finish to this match involved Prince Nana grabbing Jay White’s leg while the referee was not looking causing him to get distracted and leave himself open to Bishop Kaun who hit a double knee backbreaker for the near fall. Nana then entered the ring while the referee was distracted by Kaun again and attempted to hit White with one of the ROH Six-Man belts which led to Anthony Bowens running out and grabbing the belt away from Nana. This led to Nana trying to play things cool with an upset While while Kaun rolled-up White for a near fall. White responded with a Bladerunner to Kaun for the pinfall victory to become the new ROH Six-Man Tag Team Champions.
