Deonna Purrazzo Signs with AEW

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show in Newark, New Jersey featured former Impact Wrestling talent Deonna Purrazzo making a surprise appearance in AEW.

Following Mariah May’s victory over Queen Aminata on the show, May was interviewed by Renee Paquette about her AEW in-ring debut victory. May proceeded to boast about her win and stated that she hoped that her idol Toni Storm was watching. May then proceeded to trash New Jersey stating that her only regret was having her in-ring debut be in a place like New Jersey which led to the crowd booing May in return.

This led to Purrazzo making a surprise appearance and told May that she can tell Storm that she was going to come for her AEW Women’s title. Purrazzo also stated that she was All Elite and this is now the Age of the Virtuosa in AEW. May responded with an insult leading to a brawl breaking out between the two and Purrazzo sending May out of the ring.

Following Purrazzo’s appearance, AEW CEO Tony Khan announced on Twitter that Purrazzo recently signed an official contract with the company.
