Dragon Lee announced on Twitter on Monday evening that he will not be able to make his scheduled appearance at this Tuesday evening’s NXT Near Year’s Evil 2024 show due to him being stuck in Mexico for the time being.

Sad news to kick off the year, but due to visa issues I am unable to leave Mexico right now. Por eso, I will miss @WWENXT New Years Evil… But the LWO has a big surprise for the NQCC and the NXT Universe tomorrow night.
Lee had been originally scheduled to compete in a Six-Man Tag Team match with LWO’s Joaquin Wilde & Cruz Del Toro against No Quarter Catch Crew (Drew Gulak, Damon Kemp, & Myles Borne) at NXT’s show.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that there are no imminent issues with Lee’s new work visa for WWE in the United States. Johnson reported that Lee’s new visa had been recently approved but due to the recent holidays, it did not arrive in time in order for him to travel back to the U.S. to work at tonight’s NXT show. WWE officials reportedly currently expect Lee to be back in the U.S. soon and potentially as early as this Friday’s SmackDown show in Vancouver, Canada. WWE officials reportedly are just waiting for Lee’s visa to be physically in his hands.
