Gunther Makes WWE Return & Declares for 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble Match

Monday’s WWE RAW show featured Gunther making his return to WWE’s RAW brand following his break for paternity reasons and officially declaring himself for this year’s Men’s Royal Rumble match.

Following Imperium’s Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser coming out to the ring, Gunther mocked Arkansas folk for smelling bad and stated that him kept an eye on things while he was away. Gunther stated that he saw his fellow superstars argue over who will win the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania and bragged about his performance at last year’s Men’s Royal Rumble match. Gunther claimed that this year he will win the Men’s Royal Rumble, officially declaring himself for the match in the process, and will main event WrestleMania 40. Gunther then turned his attention towards Ludwig Kaiser and stated that he loved what Kaiser did to Kofi Kingston last week and offer a hug in appreciation leading to him and Kaiser hugging in the ring.

Xavier Woods Makes Surprise Return at Monday’s RAW Show

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured Xavier Woods making his surprise return from injury.

Following Imperium’s promo segment and hug in the middle of the ring, New Day’s theme music played and Xavier Woods made his surprise return to interrupt. Woods stated that he has a problem with Ludwig Kaiser over what he did to Kofi Kingston last week and took things “ten steps too far” over him dropkicking Kingston’s face into the steel steps. Woods stated that Kaiser is the reason why Kingston is not here tonight and wants payback in return. Woods then issued a challenge for a match tonight and stated that he can either step up and accept the challenge or does he have to ask his daddy for permission. This led to an angry Kaiser responding that what he did to Kingston will be nothing compared to what he will do to Woods tonight and accepted the challenge.

This was Woods first appearance since this past December due to an unknown injury.

Veer Mahan & Sanga Make Surprise Returns at Monday’s RAW Show

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured Veer Mahan and Sanga making their surprise returns to WWE’s RAW brand.

Prior to the start of the main event WWE World Heavyweight Championship match, Jinder Mahal came out for his entrance. As Mahal came out, Indus Sher’s Veer Mahan and Sanga showed up and accompanied him to the ring for his match.

This was Indus Sher’s first appearance since this past November.
