Adam Copeland vs. Daniel Garcia #1 Contender Match for TNT Title & Skye Blue vs. Willow Nightingale Announced for Wed. Dynamite Show

Saturday’s Collision show featured two new matches officially announced for the card of next week’s Dynamite show on February 14th in Cedar Park, Texas.

The first new match announced was a TNT Championship #1 Contender match of Adam Copeland vs. Daniel Garcia.

This match was setup following an in-ring promo segment involving Garcia and Copeland. Copeland came out to the ring and was interviewed by Tony Schiavone about his current Cop Open and his #3 ranking. Copeland responded first talking about the Young Bucks attack to Sting and Darby Allin at Dynamite and how it would not have happened if he was there. Copeland then turned his attention to which championship he could go after due to his current ranking and listed Eddie Kingston and his “dozens of belts.” Copeland stated that while he is interested in challenging Kingston, he is more interested in Christian Cage and getting back the TNT title that was ripped out of his hands.

Before Copeland could say more, Garcia’s music played and Garcia made his way out to the ring. Garcia stated that while Copeland made it sound like he deserves a shot at the TNT title, he was the not only one who has been picking up a lot of wins and bragged about his win over The Patriarchy and him pinning Cage. Garcia stated that he might deserve a shot at that title but maybe he will lose and get sent back to the line but it does not matter since he will keep fighting to achieve his goal of winning a title in AEW. Copeland responded that he did not beat The Patriarchy on his own since he had help from FTR. Copeland then issued a challenge of him and Garcia in a Last Man Standing match with the winner getting to fight Cage. Garcia agreed and the two shook hands. This match was made official afterwards for next week’s Dynamite show.

The second new match announced was a singles match of Skye Blue vs. Willow Nightingale.

This match was setup following a backstage interview segment involving Nightingale, Kris Statlander, and Stokely Hathaway. Statlander and Nightingale gave their thoughts about their confrontation with Blue and Julia Hart on Friday’s Rampage show and asked Hathaway to get a match made for them against Blue and Hart. Hathaway stated that he would if Tony Khan did not already have his number blocked but will try to get it done.

Current card for February 14th AEW Dynamite show:

  • TNT Championship #1 Contender match – Adam Copeland vs. Daniel Garcia
  • The Young Bucks (Matthew & Nicholas Jackson) vs. Top Flight (Darius & Dante Martin)
  • Skye Blue vs. Willow Nightingale

Eddie Kingston Challenges Bryan Danielson for Match at AEW Revolution 2024

Saturday’s Collision show also featured one new potential match for the card of AEW Revolution 2024, which takes place on March 3rd at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina.

This new potential match is a singles match of Eddie Kingston vs. Bryan Danielson.

This potential match was setup following a backstage interview segment involving Kingston. Kingston stated that the Young Bucks stole the thunder of Sting and Darby Allin’s AEW Tag Team titles win just like Danielson stole the thunder of Bryan Keith’s official AEW signing moment. Kingston then issued a challenge to Danielson to a match at next month’s Revolution 2024 event. Kingston stated that the stip for this match is that if he wins, then Danielson has to shake his hand and respect him since he knows this is something Danielson would hate to do.
