Rey Fenix Injury Update – Rumor Killer on Fenix Underwent Hip Replacement Surgery

As noted before, Rey Fenix has been out of action for AEW and the indies since this past October due to him currently recovering from several injuries.

Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Fenix recently denied rumors that he had underwent hip surgery replacement. Meltzer reported that the origin of the rumors came from a miscommunication issue caused by Fenix over a recent social media post referencing a new hip.

Meltzer reported that Fenix later clarified to his friends that this was not the actual case for him nor did he undergo surgery.
