Bronson Reed Reveals He Missed WWE’s Elimination Chamber 2024 Event Over Birth of First Child, Original Plans for Reed at Event

During Saturday’s WWE Elimination Chamber 2024 event in Perth, Australia, Bronson Reed revealed on Twitter that the reason why he did not travel to be at his home country’s event was due to his wife had recently given birth to their first child. Reed also stated that he was originally planned to work at the event but had to withdraw due to his wife had given birth earlier than was expected.

Following his tweet, WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque responded on Twitter congratulating Reed on the birth of his child and becoming a father.

Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that WWE officials had originally planned for Reed to compete against Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the event.

Those plans reportedly were dropped following Rollins suffering a knee injury but Reed was still willing to work at the event despite the timeline for his wife’s birth of a new child. Reed reportedly eventually made the decision to not travel in the end in order to be with his wife instead.
