Bron Breakker Makes SmackDown In-Ring Debut at Friday’s SmackDown Show

Friday’s taped SmackDown show featured Bron Breakker making his official in-ring debut for WWE’s SmackDown brand.

Breakker competed in a singles match against NXT talent Dante Chen, which was won by Breakker in a quick squash following an impressive spear to Chen.

This was Breakker’s first match on WWE’s main roster since this past January’s Royal Rumble 2024 event.

Dakota Kai Gets Attacked by Damage CTRL at Friday’s SmackDown Show

Friday’s taped SmackDown show also featured Dakota Kai claiming to Bayley that she was attacked by Damage CTRL.

In a backstage segment, Kai was seen being tended to by a WWE doctor checking on her knee in a medical room with SmackDown Nick Aldis looking on in concern. Bayley walked in interrupting Kai’s medical treatment and Kai informed her that she was attacked by Damage CTRL in the locker room and apologized for Bayley not trusting her before. Bayley responded stating that they are attacking Kai to get to her and she will be there for her. Kai responded back stating that she has Bayley’s back and will earn back her trust. Kai also stated that Damage CTRL is going to pay for what they did.

The Rock Appearance and Two Matches Announced for March 1st SmackDown Show

Friday’s taped SmackDown also featured two matches officially announced for the card of next week’s SmackDown show on March 1st in Glendale, Arizona.

The first new match was a tag team match of Bayley & Dakota Kai vs. Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane).

The second new match announced was a Street Fight match of Carlito vs. Santos Escobar.

Besides the two matches, WWE also announced prior to the start of the show that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will be making an appearance at next week’s show as well.
