  1. TNT Championship Cope Open match – Adam Copeland (c) defeated Matt Cardona via Spear (pinfall)
    • Following the match, the lights went out interrupting Copeland’s victory celebration. When the lights came back on, Malakai Black was standing in the ring staring at Copeland with black liquid coming out of his mouth. Buddy Matthews ran into the ring attacking Copeland leading to Mark Briscoe running out first trying to save Copeland but getting quickly beaten up instead. This led to Eddie Kingston running out to save Briscoe and Copeland and a staredown took place between the two groups before the lights went off and House of Black disappearing when the lights came back on.
  2. AEW World Tag Team Championship Tournament Quarterfinal Round match – FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) defeated The Infantry (Carlie Bravo & Capt. Shawn Dean) via Shatter Machine (pinfall)
    • Harwood pinned Bravo after him and Wheeler hit a Shatter Machine for the victory.
  3. Kyle O’Reilly defeated JD Drake via Armbar (submission)
  4. AEW World Tag Team Championship Tournament Quarterfinal Round match – Top Flight (Darius & Dante Martin) defeated Big Bill & Ricky Starks via Tornado DDT (pinfall)
    • Darius pinned Starks after he hit a Tornado DDT to give Top Flight the victory.
    • Following the match, the referee quickly checked on Starks and called for the ringside doctor to attend to Starks.
  5. Thunder Rosa defeated Lady Frost via Tijuana Bomb (pinfall)
  6. Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli & Bryan Danielson) & Katsuyori Shibata defeated Lance Archer & The Righteous (Dutch & Vincent) via PK (pinfall)
    • Shibata pinned Vincent after hitting a PK to give his team the victory.

Matt Cardona Makes Surprise Appearance at Saturday’s Collision Show

Saturday’s AEW Collision show featured indie talent Matt Cardona making a surprise appearance and return to AEW.

At the start of the show, Adam Copeland made his way to the ring and talked about bringing over his Cope Open open challenge series for his TNT Championship. Copeland called out for someone to accept his challenge for a TNT title match tonight.

This led to Cardona’s music playing and him making a surprise appearance to a loud reaction from the crowd.

This was Cardona’s first appearance in AEW since All Out 2020 in September of 2020.


The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn Responds to Bang Bang Gang’s Recent Actions & Comments

Saturday’s Collision show also featured The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn responding to the Bang Bang Gang’s recent actions and comments against them.

During the show, The Acclaimed & Gunn came out for an in-ring interview with Tony Schiavone. Gunn talked about Bang Bang Scissor Gang’s split as a group due to White and The Gunns and being pissed off at White for him recently invading his home. Gunn stated that he can look past White hitting him in the head with a chair but not what he did coming into his home. Gunn then revealed that he will be having a match with White at next week’s Dynamite show.

Max Caster responded stating he had a message for Austin and Colten calling them the “Ass Boys” and claimed that while Gunn is beating down White next week, if they actually believe in White, then there will be no interference and challenged them to stay in the back since the Acclaimed will also be doing the same.

Anthony Bowens responded stating that he was proven right that White is a coward and insulted Austin & Colten calling them “bullet bitches.” After some more words, Bowens issued a challenge to the Bang Bang Gang for a Trios Championship match.


FTR & Top Flight Advances in AEW Tag Titles Tournament

Saturday’s Collision show also featured two Quarterfinal Round matches for AEW’s Tag Team Championship tournament.

The first Quarterfinal match featured FTR defeating The Infantry.

The second Quarterfinal match featured Top Flight defeating Big Bill & Ricky Starks following a potential audible being called for the match finish after Starks appeared to have suffered an injury.

As a result of their victories, FTR will be facing off against Top Flight in the Semifinal Round of AEW’s on-going Tag titles tournament.


Adam Copeland, Mark Briscoe & Eddie Kingston vs. House of Black Announced for AEW Dynasty

Saturday’s Collision show also featured one new match for the card of AEW Dynasty, which takes place on April 21st at the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri.

This new match was a Trios match of Adam Copeland, Mark Briscoe, & Eddie Kingston vs. House of Black (Buddy Matthews, Brody King, & Malakai Black).

This match was setup following House of Black’s attack on Copeland and Briscoe following Copeland retaining his TNT Championship against Matt Cardona. In a follow-up segment, Copeland, Briscoe, and Kingston were interviewed backstage by Lexy Nair. An angry Copeland talked about House of Black getting involved with him and their actions and issued a challenge for a Trios match at AEW Dynasty. Briscoe responded talking about his current bad blood issues with HoB and Kingston dished out several nonchalant insults directed at HoB. Kingston also stated that after Dynasty, HoB will be spitting out blood from their teeth when they are done with them. Later in the show, it was confirmed that this match was made official for Dynasty.

Current Card for April 3rd AEW Dynamite Show

Saturday’s Collision show also featured two new matches announced for the card of next week’s AEW Dynamite show on April 3rd at the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts.

The first new match announced was a singles match of Billy Gunn vs. Jay White.

This match was setup following an in-ring interview segment involving The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn. During his promo, Gunn revealed that he will be facing off against White in a match at next week’s Dynamite show.

The second new match announced was a singles match of Thunder Rosa vs. Mariah May.

This match was setup following a backstage interview involving “Timeless” Toni Storm, May, & Luther. During the interview, Renee Paquette informed Storm that next week’s Dynamite show will be featuring a #1 vs. #2 ranked match between Rosa and May and the winner to receive a future shot at the AEW Women’s World Championship.
