As noted before, AEW CEO Tony Khan announced this past Wednesday that he had pulled the scheduled Meat Madness match for this Sunday’s AEW Revolution 2024 event due to injury-related issues, During Thursday’s Revolution 2024 media call, Khan stated that this match was originally planned to feature more competitors but it had to be put on hold due to Miro and Keith Lee are currently dealing with injuries.
Miro provided an update on Twitter on Friday morning stating that he has been dealing with an injury since this past September and had received medical attention this past January. Miro also stated in a potential sarcastic response that he was sorry that Khan was not aware of his medical situation beforehand.
