Mike Santana Reportedly Expected to Make TNA Return Soon

As noted before, Mike Santana departed from AEW earlier this month and is currently a free agent.

Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that Santana is currently expected to be making his return to TNA Wrestling soon.

Santana previously worked for TNA under its former Impact Wrestling name from March of 2017 to August of 2019 and was most known for hism time as a member of the Latin American Xchange (LAX) group.


Steph De Lander vs. Jordynne Grace for Knockouts World Title Announced for TNA Rebellion 2024

TNA Wrestling recently announced one new updated match for the card of their Rebellion 2024 event, which takes place on April 20th at the Palms Casino Resort in Paradise, Nevada.

This newly updated match announced was a TNA Knockouts World Championship match of Steph De Lander vs. Jordynne Grace (c).

This match was setup following De Lander being victorious in an Knockouts World Championship #1 Contender 8-4-1 match at this past Thursday’s Impact show.

Friday’s Homenaje A Dos Leyendas 2024 event for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre at the Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico featured Averno defeating Barbaro Cavernario to become the new CMLL World Light Heavyweight Champion.

Friday’s War Chamber 2024 event for Major League Wrestling in St. Petersburg, Florida featured Team MLW (Satoshi Kojima and Shigeo Okumura & The Second Gear Crew (Matthew Justice & 1 Called Manders)) defeating World Titan Federation (“Filthy” Tom Lawlor, Davey Boy Smith Jr., Richard Holliday, & Josh Bishop) in a War Chamber match.

MLW recently announced that Shigeo Okumura will be making an appearance for the company at their Azteca Lucha event on May 11th in Chicago, Illinois.

As noted before, The Motor City Machine Guns’ Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin’s contracts with TNA are currently set to expire at the end of this month. Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that it is currently not known what will be Sabin and Shelley’s next destination for their careers beyond either WWE or AEW being the most likely places. Meltzer speculated that New Japan Pro Wrestling is likely not in the running due to them already having too many foreign-based talent that they already don’t bring over that much to Japan for shows.

TheCubsFan reported that Rey Fenix and Penta El Zero Miedo recently shut down their Republic of Lucha lucha merchandise store in Pasadena, California due to issues over high rental costs for the building. It was reported that Republic of Lucha’s online store will still continue to exist and Fenix and Penta are currently looking for a new location for their physical store. It was reported that this was also the reason why their next Republic of Lucha event will be taking place at the former Lucha Underground venue.

Joey Janela recently announced that he has pulled Volador Jr. from Game Changer Wrestling’s Joey Janela’s Spring Break 8 event due to visa-related issues. Janela announced that Dralistico will be replacing Volador Jr. for his scheduled match against Gringo Loco at the event.

Revolution Pro Wrestling recently announced that they have pulled Zack Sabre Jr. from their Revolution Rumble 2024 event this Sunday in Bethnal Green, England due to “unforeseen logistical issues.”

Mike Rallis, former Riddick Moss in WWE, recently announced that he will be making his first post-WWE match for Oceania Pro Wrestling’s Australian Stampede event on April 13th in Ballrat, Australia. Rallis will be facing off against Chris Masters for the Stu Hart Heritage Championship at the event.

Asia-Pacific Federation of Wrestling recently announced one new match for the card of their Wrestling World 2024 event on April 14th in New Taipei, Taiwan:

  • HANAKO vs. Starlight Kid

New Japan Pro Wrestling recently announced one new match for the card of their Sakura Genesis 2024 event on April 6th in Tokyo, Japan:

  • Pre-show: Frontier Zone match – Tomohiro Ishii, Toru Yano & Boltin Oleg vs. Ayato Yoshida, Takuro Niki & Chicharito Shoki

DDT Pro Wrestling recently announced two new matches for the card of their May 19th event in Osaka, Japan:
