As noted before, WWE announced this past January that this year’s NXT Battleground event would be taking place on May 26th at the Enmarket Arena in Savannah, Georgia.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that WWE officials recently have pushed back the date for their NXT Battleground 2024 event from its originally announced May 26th date to now a new date of June 9th.
In regards to the event’s location, WrestleVotes reported that their sources stated that WWE officials have also changed the event’s location to now taking place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.
It is currently not known if WWE’s decision to change the date for this year’s NXT Battleground event is related to AEW recently announcing that this year’s Double or Nothing 2024 event would be taking place on May 26th and would have gone head-to-head against WWE’s event.
