Wilson then ran back into and pinned a knocked out Owens for the victory while Paul hid under the ring.
    • Following the ring, Orton found Paul from under the ring and attacked him leading to a brawl breaking out with Pretty Deadly and Owens resulting in Orton and Owens standing tall in the end. Rey Mysterio Reveals Dragon Lee as Newest Member of LWO & Issues Tag Challenge to Dominik & Santos Escobar for WrestleMania 40

Friday’s SmackDown show also featured one new potential match for the card of WrestleMania 40.

This new potential match is a tag team match of LWO (Rey Mysterio & Dragon Lee) vs. Dominik Mysterio & Santos Escobar.

This match was potentially setup following an in-ring promo segment involving Legado Del Fantasma, Dominik, and the LWO. Legado came out and Escobar talked about how people should not forget that he was the one who put Rey on the shelf for months and he knows that he didn’t get the amputation like he wanted but got the next best thing, him beating Rey in the center of the ring last week. Santos then stated that Rey is the greatest luchador of all time only to then insult him saying that “or at least he was” and how he outsmarted Rey and all it took was one phone call to a man that despises Rey just like he does.

This led to Dominik coming out and shook hands with Legado. Santos thanked Dominik for his help and stated that he wanted to apologize since Dominik was right the whole time about Rey. Dominik then tried to speak only to get loudly booed, which sounded even more blatantly pipped in than usual, and talked about he will do everything in his power to “make that dead beat dad’s life a living hell.”

Before Dominik and Escobar could continue, Rey’s music played leading to Rey and the LWO made their way out. Rey talked to Dominik telling him that he had truly believed that he was done fighting him and now Escobar dragged him right into his issues with Legado and Dominik wanting to be part of it. After some more words, Rey issued a challenge to Escobar and Dominik for a tag team match against him and a partner of his choosing at WrestleMania 40. Dominik responded mocking Rey and looked at the LWO stating “which one of these dorks is going to be the guy?” Rey responded stating that it will be Dragon Lee since he is the newest member of the LWO.

Lee’s music played and he came out to the ring. After a tense standoff between the two groups, Zelina Vega and Elektra traded some words and brawled leading to both groups brawling, which ended with Legado and Dominik being cleared out of the ring.
