Young Bucks Suspend Hangman Page & Fire Kenny Omega from The Elite, Kazuchika Okada Makes AEW Debut & Joins Elite, Okada Signs with AEW

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show in Duluth, Georgia featured Kazuchika Okada making his official full-time debut for AEW and joining the Elite.

During the show, The Young Bucks’ Matthew and Nicholas Jackson came out to the ring to make several big announcements.

The first announcement was them being one of the official teams for AEW’s upcoming tag team tournament to crown new AEW World Tag Team Champions.

The second announcement was Matthew stating that Hangman Adam Page has been indefinitely suspended without pay from The Elite due to his attacks towards referees during his AEW World Championship Three-way match at this past Sunday’s Revolution 2024 event.

The final announcement was Matthew stating that they have fired Kenny Omega from The Elite due to him no showing AEW shows for some time for some reason they are not aware about.

After their announcements, Eddie Kingston came out to the ring and confronted The Young Bucks. Following some insults by Kingston directed towards the Young Bucks, a brawl broke out leading to the Young Bucks getting the upper-hand.

This led to Kazuchika Okada’s music playing and him making his official full-time debut for AEW. Okada ran out and teased helping Kingston fend off the Young Bucks only to grab Kingston and hit a Rainmaker laying him out. The Young Bucks then stated that they actually had one final big announcement to make and that this was Okada has joined The Elite as its newest member. Okada then looked over Kingston’s fallen body and motioned that he wants Kingston’s AEW Continental Crown Championship.

Following Okada’s appearance on the show, AEW CEO Tony Khan announced on Twitter that Okada recently signed an official contract with the company.
