  1. Will Ospreay defeated Powerhouse Hobbs via Hidden Blade (pinfall)
    • Prior to the start of the match, Don Callis came out and joining the commentary table for a up close look on the match involving two members of his Don Callis Family group.
    • Following the match, Callis got into the ring and Hobbs started arguing with Ospreay and shoved him leading to Callis quickly trying to defuse the situation. As Ospreay was walking to the back, Danielson’s music played for his match that was taking place next and the two had a brief staredown before both headed off in opposite directions.
  2. Bryan Danielson defeated Lance Archer via Busaiku Knee (pinfall)
  3. Billy Gunn defeated Jay White via Disqualification
    • Near the end of the match, The Acclaimed were shown on the large video screen being laid out backstage leading to Gunn being distracted for a bit. After some more action, Gunn went out of the ring and grabbed a chair and headed back to the ring. Before Gunn could get the chance to strike White with it, The Gunns ran into the ring preventing him and pleaded with their father to not do it. This led to Gunn getting distracted and White hitting a low blow resulting in the referee calling for the bell.
    • Following the match, the Bang Bang Gang attacked Gunn leading to The Acclaimed running out to save Gunn and a brawl breaking out that ended with The Gunns grabbing White and walking away before Anthony Bowens was able to powerbomb him onto the announcer’s table.
  4. AEW World Tag Team Championship Tournament Semifinal Round match – The Young Bucks (Matthew & Nicholas Jackson) defeated Best Friends (Trent Beretta & Orange Cassidy) via Roll-up (pinfall)
    • Matthew Jackson pinned Beretta after Beretta ran towards Jackson who countered it with a take down and catapult into the exposed turnbuckle. Jackson then rolled up Beretta and grabbed onto his tights for added leverage while the referee was not looking to give Young Bucks the victory.
    • Following the match, a dejected Best Friends were in the ring reflecting on their tournament loss and attempted to do their patented group hug moment. This led to Beretta charging at Cassidy and laying him out while Chuck Taylor looked on sad over what happened and Beretta ignoring his mother Sue at ringside and left to the back.
  5. AEW Women’s Championship #1 Contender match – Thunder Rosa defeated Mariah May via Tijuana Bomb (pinfall)

Adam Copeland Responds to CM Punk’s Dismissive Comments Towards AEW

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show featured an in-ring promo segment involving Adam Copeland.

While not addressing his name directly, Copeland responded in a rally style speech towards CM Punk’s recent dismissive comments about AEW in general and AEW CEO Tony Khan that were made in an episode of The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani show.

During his promo, Copeland stated that he did not come out her as the TNT Champion but simply as Adam to talk to the fans asking if they are having fun. Copeland talked all the great things about wrestling despite the negative feedback and stated he came back to wrestling because he loves it so much. Copeland then stated that when he started thinking about the end of his career, he realized that AEW is the place to bring his career to a close. Copeland stated that he looked at AEW’s roster and saw a “murderer’s row” of talent and proceeded to list several names including Will Ospreay, Kenny Omega, and Hangman Adam Page.

After some more words, Copeland stated that some of his friends in the industry have been calling him up saying that he looks like he is having a blast in AEW, which he says he is and has been having a lot of fun. Copeland stated that AEW should be celebrated and praised AEW for having pushed this industry into a better place because AEW makes wrestling better. Copeland then stated that AEW is where the best wrestle.

Copeland then stated that it is time to move forward and talked about there is a reason why Kazuchika Okada, Mercedes Mone, Ospreay, and himself all came here. Copeland then introduced the man he stated who will help bring AEW forward, which was Ospreay as part of Ospreay intro for his match against Powerhouse Hobbs right afterwards.


Mercedes Mone Issues Challenge for TBS Title at AEW Double or Nothing 2024

Wednesday’s Dynamite show also featured Mercedes Mone issuing a challenge to the winner of the TBS Championship at AEW Dynamite for a title match at Double or Nothing 2024.

During the show, Willow Nightingale, Kris Statlander, and Stokely Hathaway came out to the stage for an interview with Renee Paquette. Nightingale talked about Worcester being a home away from home and the importance this place had on her wrestling career. Nightingale stated that she used to wonder if a girl like her belonged in wrestling and the positive response from the crowd confirmed that may very well be true. After some more words, Nightingale talked about her match for the TBS title at AEW Dynasty and that the fan support will help her become the smiling face of the Women’s division in AEW.

Hathaway responded praising Nightingale before being interrupted by Mone’s music. Mone came out and told Worcester to say hello to their CEO and that she looks forward to seeing Willow take on Julia at Dynasty. Mone then stated that whoever is the TBS Champion after Dynasty, she is calling her shot and gets next at Double or Nothing 2024.


Young Bucks Advances to Finals of AEW Tag Titles Tournament

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show featured one Semifinal Round match for AEW’s Tag Team Championship tournament.

This match was The Young Bucks defeating Best Friends.

As a result of their victory, Young Bucks will be facing off against the winner of the FTR vs. Top Flight match in the Finals of AEW’s tag team tournament to crown new AEW World Tag Team Champions at this month’s Dynasty event.


Trent Beretta Turns on Orange Cassidy & Walks Out of Best Friends

Wednesday’s Dynamite show also featured Trent Beretta turning on the Best Friends and walking out of the group.

Following The Young Bucks cheating to defeat Best Friends to advance to the Finals of the AEW World Tag Team Championship, a dejected Best Friends were in the ring reflecting on their tournament loss. Orange Cassidy, Chuck Taylor, and Beretta tried to put that loss to the side and went for their patented group hug moment only for Beretta to charge at Cassidy and laid him out. This led to Taylor looking on sad over what happened while Beretta left the ring and ignored his mother Sue at ringside as he walked to the back.


Thunder Rosa vs. “Timeless” Toni Storm for AEW Women Title Set for AEW Dynasty

Wednesday’s Dynamite show also featured one new match officially announced for the card of AEW Dynasty, which takes place on April 21st at the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri.

This new match announced was an AEW Women’s World Championship match of Thunder Rosa vs. “Timeless” Toni Storm.

This match was setup following Rosa defeating Mariah May in a #1 Contender’s match between the top two ranked women in AEW’s Women’s division.
