Braun Strowman Makes Surprise Return from Injury at Monday’s RAW Show

Monday’s RAW show also featured Bruan Strowman making his surprise return from injury to WWE.

During the show, Strowman was announced to be drafted to the RAW brand, staying on the same brand he was drafted to at last year’s WWE Draft.

Following Round Two of tonight’s WWE Draft, Logan Paul made his way to the ring and stated how he came to Kansas City to make some draft picks and maybe even celebrate with Patrick Mahomes only for Jey Uso to run his mouth about him. Paul claimed that Damian Priest will beat Uso at Backlash and Uso made a mistake leaving The Bloodline. After some insults directed at Uso and bragging about himself as United States Champion, Uso’s music played interrupting Paul. Uso asked the crowd if they think he can beat Priest and become WWE World Heavyweight Champion and asked them again if they think he should beat up Paul. While Paul responded, Judgement Day’s JD McDonagh and Finn Balor came out and made their way to the ring. Paul talked about how Uso is alone again and couldn’t fend for himself than and can not fend for himself now. This led to Uso attacking McDonagh and Balor while Paul left the ring and went up to Mahomes who was seated in the front row. Mahomes gave his Super Bowl rings to Paul for him to use as a weapon. Judgement Day managed to get the upper hand over Uso and held him up waiting for Paul to strike him with the rings in a makeshift brass knuckles. Paul attempted to punch Uso only for Uso to duck leading to McDonagh getting punched in the head instead. Uso then went to attack Balor leading to Paul responding by punching Uso and laying him out.

Before anything else could happen, Strowman’s music played and came out to the ring to save Uso. Strowman cleared the ring of Balor and Paul and chased Paul out to the crowd before turning back and confronting Mahomes over what he did helping Paul earlier. This led to several of Mahomes’ Kansas City Chiefs teammates standing out in support of Mahomes and Strowman and Mahomes exchanging words before Uso pulled Strowman away.

This was Strowman’s first appearance in WWE since May of 2023 due to a neck injury and neck fusion surgery.
