McMahon came out to the ring and talked about how the weather is a little warmer tonight than last night’s show. McMahon also talked about how she’s been to every WrestleMania since the very first one and how this year’s show is the one she is the most proud of. McMahon proclaimed that this is the first WrestleMania of the “Paul Levesque Era.” After some more words praising the crowd being from all 50 states and 64 countries and her husband Triple H, McMahon stated he wants to steal a line and asked Philly a question of “Are You Ready?” leading to the crowd cheering back in response. McMahon stated that was not good enough and asked the same question again leading to the crowd roaring in cheers and her officially starting the show.

Drew McIntyre Wins WWE World Title, Damien Priest Cashes In & Wins World Title at WrestleMania 40 Night 2

Sunday’s WrestleMania 40 Night 2 event featured the WWE World Heavyweight Championship changing hands twice.

Drew McIntyre defeated Seth Rollins to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion after finally putting down Rollins from multiple Claymore Kicks.

Following the match, McIntyre celebrated his title victory and confronted CM Punk at the commentary table rubbing in his victory and trash talking Punk. McIntyre then delivered a slap to Punk for added insult leading to Punk jumping out of his chair and attacking McIntyre.

This led to Damian Priest’s music playing and him and the rest of Judgement Day running out to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase. Priest handed his case to the referee who accepted and rang the bell as Priest tossed McIntyre back into the ring. Priest then quickly hit a South of Heaven to defeat McIntyre and become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Bayley Wins WWE Women’s Title at WrestleMania 40 Night 2

Sunday’s WrestleMania 40 Night 2 event also featured Bayley defeating IYO SKY to become the new WWE Women’s Championship.

This was Bayley’s fourth ever WWE Women’s title victory and the first time she won a top Women’s title at WrestleMania in her career.

Cody Rhodes Wins Undisputed WWE Universal Title & Undertaker and Cena Among Those Appearing in Bloodline Rules Match

Sunday’s WrestleMania 40 Night 2 event also featured Cody Rhodes defeating Roman Reigns in a Bloodline Rules match to become the new Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.

Prior to the start of the match, Rhodes’ wife Brandi made a surprise appearance and official return to WWE. Brandi accomplished Rhodes to the ring during his entrance.

This match featured Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso being the first to come out with Jimmy attacking Rhodes leading to Jey running out and the two brawling on the stage resulting both guys going over the stage through tables on the outside.

Solo Sikoa was the next one to interfere in the match and after some attacks, John Cena ran out to save Rhodes and cleared the ring of Sikoa and hit an Attitude Adjustment to Reigns and Sikoa.

“The Final Boss” The Rock was the next one to come out and confronted Cena in the ring. The Rock laid out Cena with a Rock Bottom after Cena tried to swing at him.

The next to come was Seth Rollins who came out to his old Shield theme but was quickly taken out by Reigns after Rollins tried to sneak attack Rock from behind.

The next to come out was The Undertaker who made what might have been his fastest ever WrestleMania entrance. After The Rock took out Cena, the Undertaker’s church bell rang and the lights went off. When the lights came back on, The Undertaker appeared behind The Rock and took him out with a chokeslam. The lights then went off again and when it came back on, The Undertaker was gone.

Following the ring being cleared of everyone, Rhodes and Reigns went back-and-forth some more leading to Reigns attempted to hit a spear on Rhodes only for Rhodes to counter it with a kick and hit a set of Cross Rhodes to pin Reigns ending one of the longest ever WWE and World title reigns in WWE history.

Following the match, Rhodes celebrated in the ring with his wife and members of his family and several people from WWE’s locker room. Rhodes gave a brief speech thanking those in the ring and called out for Bruce Prichard and Triple H to celebrate with him in the ring since he stated he would not have returned to WWE without those. Triple H was the only one of the two to come out and embraced Rhodes in the ring. After some more celebrating, Rhodes gave a hug to Michael Cole and shook hands with Pat McAfee and Corey Graves. As he made his way to the back, Rhodes shook hands with WWE President Nick Khan and the two had a small chat before Rhodes left for the back to end the show.
