  1. Trent Beretta & Roderick Strong defeated Orange Cassidy & Will Ospreay via End of Heartache (pinfall)
    • Near the end of the match, Beretta attempted to take off the turnbuckle only to be stopped by the referee. While the referee was distracted, Don Callis and The Undisputed Kingdom’s Mike Bennett & Matt Taven interfered leading to Ospreay taking out Bennett & Taven on the outside. This led to Wardlow running out and attacked Ospreay on the outside laying him out. Beretta and Strong hit a series of moves to Cassidy ending with Beretta hitting an End of Heartache to Cassidy for the pinfall victory.
    • Following the match, The Undisputed Kingdom attacked Ospreay busting him open after Strong hit him with the International title belt in the ring while Beretta choked out Cassidy at ringside.
  2. FTW Championship Eliminator Three-way match – HOOK and Katsuyori Shibata defeated “The Bounty Hunter” Bryan Keith via Redrum and Heel Hook combo (submission)
    • Prior to the start of the match, The Learning Tree’s Chris Jericho and Big Bill came out to the announcer’s table for guest commentary.
    • Near the end of the match, HOOK locked in a Redrum while Shibata locked in a Heel Hook at the same time to Keith causing him to tap out and HOOK and Shibata both being declared as winners.
    • Following the match, Jericho gave a promo about his current FTW title predicament and his title match was confirmed to be a three-way for Double or Nothing 2024.
  3. Konosuke Takeshita defeated Matt Sydal via Forearm Strike (pinfall)
    • Following the match, Takeshita offered a handshake to Sydal who reached out in return but this turned out to just be a ruse by Takeshita who deadlift grabbed Sydal and laid him out with a release German suplex. This led to Jon Moxley’s music playing interrupting Takeshita’s post-match celebration and came out from the crowd. Moxley attacked Takeshita with a microphone and told Takeshita that he would see him at Double or Nothing.
  4. Swerve Strickland defeated Nick Wayne via House Call (pinfall)
    • Following the match, Killswitch ran out and attacked Strickland as Christian Cage and Mother Wayne went to check on Nick. While Cage was checking on Wayne, Strickland managed to get the upper hand over Killswitch and chased Cage out of the venue. Cage proceeded to carjack a SUV from someone in the parking lot and taunted Strickland but when he tried to drive off, another SUV showed up blocking the exit. This SUV was revealed to be driven by Prince Nana making his surprise return. Strickland grabbed Cage out of the SUV and attacked him leading to Nana giving Strickland a chair to use to strike on Cage’s head onto the SUV. Before Strickland was able to go through with the attack, Cage dodged away at the last moment and ran off to safety.
  5. Malakai Black defeated Kyle O’Reilly via The End (pinfall)
    • Following the match, Black’s post-match celebration was interrupted by Brood-style flickering red lights and Black being struck with a big “blood bath” in the ring as Adam Copeland was seen on the big screen walking down a set of stairs.
  6. Mariah May & “Timeless” Toni Storm defeated The Outcasts (Harley Cameron & Saraya) via Storm Zero (pinfall)
    • Storm pinned Cameron after Storm hit a Storm Zero to Saraya and May hit a May Day to Cameron at the same time. May shoved Cameron to Storm who hit a Storm Zero for the pinfall victory.
    • Following the match, Serena Deeb ran out and attacked Storm, May, and Luther from behind with a chair. Deeb then placed the upright chair on top of Storm and sat down and hooked a Single Leg Crab while AEW officials ran out trying to break it up.
  7. Bryan Danielson defeated Satnam Singh via Disqualification
    • Prior to the start of the match, Jeff Jarrett, Jay Lethal, & Sonjay Dutt came out alongside Satnam to be in his corner.
    • Near the end of the match, Jarrett, Lethal, & Dutt ran into the ring and attacked Danielson causing for the referee to ring for the bell.
    • Following the match, Jarrett & Pals continued their attack on Danielson leading to The Elite coming out to join in on the attack. The Elite dragged Danielson to the stage but before they could do anything else, the big screen showed a van arriving at the venue and Darby Allin stepping out of it. This van was revealed to be driven by Tony Khan who lifted the Elite’s ban on Allin from entering the venue. Allin came out to the stage with a flamethrower causing The Elite to panic and Danielson managing to send Nicolas Jackson crashing off the stage through a table.

Death Triangle Makes Surprise Return at Wednesday’s Dynamite Show & Trios Match Set for Double or Nothing 2024

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show featured Death Triangle making their surprise return and a Trios match between Death Triangle and the Bang Bang Gang being officially added to the card of AEW Double or Nothing 2024.

During the show, Bang Bang Gang came out to the ring with a wagon holding all of their AEW, ROH, and The Acclaimed’s special Trios Championships.

Jay White grabbed a microphone and proceeded to mock PAC pretending to forget how his name is pronounced and bragged about their attack to him last week. White stated that PAC made a series of mistakes in recent weeks by sticking his nose in their business where it does not belong. Before White could continue, PAC showed up on the big screen to interrupt and stated that they have wound him up a little bit. PAC also stated that he knows 3 on 1 isn’t exactly fair but he knows some guys to have his back, which was revealed to be Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix for the surprise return of Death Triangle.

Death Triangle made their way to the ring resulting in a brawl breaking out and Death Triangle clearing the ring of the Bang Bang Gang. PAC grabbed a microphone and issued a challenge to the BBG for their Unified AEW World Trios titles at Double or Nothing 2024.

In a follow-up segment, the Bang Bang Gang responded backstage to PAC’s challenge accepting a Trios match at Double or Nothing but would only agree to put their titles on the line if Penta and Fenix can defeat the Gunns in a tag team match at this Saturday’s AEW Collision show.


HOOK & Katsuyori Shibata Wins Shot at FTW Championship for AEW Double or Nothing 2024

Wednesday’s Dynamite show also featured one new match announced for the card of AEW Double or Nothing 2024, which takes place on May 26th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This new match announced was a FTW Championship FTW Rules Three-way match of HOOK vs. Katsuyori Shibata vs. Chris Jericho (c).

This match was setup following HOOK and Shibata getting a double submission victory over Bryan Keith on the show. Following the match, the crowd chanted “Let them fight” leading to Jericho grabbing a microphone and agreed with the crowd before talking about how this now makes his job more difficult at Double or Nothing. After some stumbling and laughing of his words, Jericho stated that this will be a first ever “For The World” Rules Triple Threat match. AEW commentator Tony Schiavone stated that he had received a text from Tony Khan making this match official for Double or Nothing 2024.

Prince Nana Makes Surprise Return at Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite Show

Wednesday’s Dynamite show also featured Prince Nana making his surprise return from being injured at the hands of

Following Swerve Strickland’s victory over Nick Wayne, Killswitch ran out and attacked Strickland while Christian Cage and Mother Wayne went to check on Nick. While Cage was checking on Wayne, Strickland managed to get the upper hand over Killswitch causing Cage to be shocked when he turned around. Cage proceeded to run out of the ring and out of the venue while being followed by Strickland.

Cage went up to an SUV in the parking lot and carjacked it and taunted Strickland but when he tried to drive off, another SUV showed up blocking the exit. This SUV was revealed to be driven by Prince Nana making his surprise return in the process. Strickland grabbed Cage out of the SUV and attacked him leading to Nana giving Strickland a chair to use to strike on Cage’s head onto the SUV. Before Strickland was able to hit Cage with the chair, Cage dodged away at the last moment and ran off to safety.


Tony Khan Makes Surprise Return at Wednesday’s Dynamite Show

Wednesday’s Dynamite show also featured AEW CEO Tony Khan making his surprise in-person return to AEW.

Following Bryan Danielson’s victory over Satnam Singh on the show, Jeff Jarrett & Pals attacked Danielson leading to The Elite coming out to join in on the attack. The Elite proceeded to drag Danielson to the stage but before they could do anything else, the big screen showed a mysterious van driving into the parking lot. Darby Allin was seen coming out of the van and it was revealed that Khan was the driver and had lifted The Elite’s ban on Allin from entering the venue.

This led to Allin coming out to the stage carrying a flamethrower causing the Elite to panic and Danielson recovering enough to toss Nicholas Jackson off the stage and through a table.

This was Khan’s first in-person appearance in AEW since suffering a “neck injury” at the hands of The Elite this past April.
